All schools contract with a studio to do the yearbook photos. You MUST go to this studio to be able to be in the yearbook, but you can go wherever you wish for your individual personal portraits. Here at Mikel's we are contracted to do Basic Academy's yearbook photos. The school requires ALL young men to wear a shirt and tie of any style or color.

Everything about this experience was at least 5 stars!!! Mikel took photos for my daughter's senior high school picture many years ago, so I was looking forward to having him take family photos for me on my 60th birthday.
The photos are so breathtakingly beautiful!!! And fun!!! Mikel is able to make sure that everyone is relaxed and having a great time!!! He has incredible patience too!!

This evening we had an opportunity of a lifetime. Mikel Conrad, owner of Mikel's Photography and Design, did a photo shoot for our family. Anyone who knows us, knows how hard it is to get all of us together. Different work schedules. Different states. We came together for Christmas and made an appointment to have our portraits taken. Wow, wow, wow! Is what my husband and I both said when we had our family portrait done at Mikel’s Photography and Design. Mikel made us feel at ease when he did our photo shoot. He was quick with the shots he wanted. He worked with us to pick the best photo before we left his studio. Mikel is unbelievably talented at what he does and it shows in each of his photographs. We have new fur babies as part of our family this year and there was no way we were going to get a good picture for our Christmas cards by us trying to take one, so we went into Mikel's studio where he performed his magic. The picture was so good we had to turn it into a portrait. Thanks for the amazing image Mikel!
