NH Society Of CPAs

The New Hampshire Society of Certified Public Accountants (NHSCPA) is a state-wide professional organization of CPAs in public practice, industry, government and education. The NHSCPA Board of Directors is working on "Strategic Plan Initiatives" which we hope will enrich both the accounting profession and the Society.

The New Hampshire Society of Certified Public Accountants serves a diverse and growing membership of more than 1,100 CPAs and accounting professionals in public practice, industry, government and education. The Society works to develop and maintain high professional standards and offers a wide array of legislative, technical support and networking opportunities to its members.

The NHSCPA advocates for its members, issues of importance to the accounting profession, monitors how government plans will affect businesses and promotes the interests of CPAs before the state legislature, regulatory bodies, and other organizations. While most people use the terms accountant and CPA interchangeably, there are several big differences. The CPA credential carries enormous weight in business and financial circles. Your application will only be submitted once you receive the page that reads: "Your membership application has been successfully sent." Fellow members hold a legally issued certificate as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New Hampshire. Fellow members are eligible to vote and hold office in the Society.
