Crossroads Animal Hospital
Maintaining a healthy weight is one of the most important concerns when it comes to your dog's health. Factors like diet and exercise in the right amounts can help keep your dog at an ideal weight. See more about this here: 1l.ink/QPKNKCR. December is National Cat Lover's Month, and what better way to celebrate that special kitty in your life than by making sure that every trip to the vet is as painless as possible?.

We're excited to announce that our hospital is beginning a major expansion project in the next year that will mean a much-improved experience for you and your pets!.
Services
Crossroads Animal Hospital is a full-service animal hospital conveniently located in Gordonsville, Virginia - a community that we have proudly served since May of 2010. We offer boarding, dental cleanings, digital radiographs, ultrasound, in-house bloodwork, surgical services, laser therapy, routine and preventative care, microchipping, boarding and more!
We know that bringing your pet to the vet for a visit can be a stressful time for them. Our goal is to make your pet feel less stress during these visits which are why our staff has become Fear Free Certified. Having staff with Fear Free certifications means that our staff has had specialized training that aims to alleviate stress, anxiety, and fear while your pet is at our clinic.
At Crossroads Animal Hospital we accept numerous forms of payment, including credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express) debit cards, cash, and Care Credit. We are also happy to assist with submitting claims to your pet's insurance company. We do not offer payment plans. Pet insurance has come a long way in the past several years and now offers a great way for you to protect your pet's health.
At Crossroads Animal Hospital we employ caring and knowledgeable staff that support the bond between owners and their pets by providing top-level veterinary care. The relationships between people and their four-legged family members deserve the highest level of respect and compassion, as they can represent some of the most important ones in a person's life.
Preventative care is a pet's first line of defense against illness and injury. Scheduling regular exams for your pets allow us to prevent, diagnose and treat disease in its early stages, often before you notice any symptoms. Treatment is more effective when it starts earlier, so preventative care helps your pet live a long and healthy life with you.

Bright, impeccably clean office, very compassionate staff who helped us through the unfortunate but necessary process of euthanasia for a beloved pet. One small snag (which wouldn't deter me from using them again or from recommending them): I wish the receptionist could have resisted the urge to chastise me for being ten minutes late knowing we were bringing an elderly pet in to be put to sleep. I don't believe it was deliberately insensitive but it struck a nerve. Still, five out of five stars.

Excellent care for our two pups. The staff always puts the care of our animals over everything else. Seriously, these people are awesome.

We have brought our pets to Dr Fietz for years and followed him when he joined Cross Roads. He has provided excellent care for all of our pets and has always acted in their best interests, been unfailingly kind and has gone above and beyond to keep them healthy whenever possible and to keep them comfortable when old age or cancer has made good health impossible.

I would like to let everyone at the hospital know how much I appreciate the teams caring and compassion during a difficult time with my 14yr old. I would especially like to thank Dr. Fietz for taking the time to hear what I had to say and try to make a plan for his care. I had to make the difficult decision to put him to rest and the staff did all they could do to make a very painful decision as easy as it could be.

The personal directed you on what you have to do before any appoinment after you get there call in to the office then they get out of the building to take your pet in and you don't know what they do inside. I believe that the old fashion way when you could talk to your pets vet where more convenient and comfortable.
