Growing up in Mississippi, whenever my Grandpa saw me, he always squeezed my cheeks together to make a "fish mouth" and then he'd give me a big ol' kiss. In fact, I think he took this favorite image of me when I was two. This crinkled photo is so dear to me. It holds a treasured memory of what I look like at that age, how big I can make my cheeks (take that, fish!) and a memory of a very special relationship.

Where do I even begin?! Kallyn came highly recommended, and when I reached out to schedule my initial consult, I could have never known how much of a treat we were in for. From start to finish, she has been such a delight to work with, and from a pandemic parent that has been grieving the way that this first year has gone, she has been such a bright spot in all of this and made us all feel so special. The photos were better than I could have anticipated, and my favorite part was that she allowed everything to happen organically. I truly cannot recommend her enough. It was a top-notch experience

We've hired Kallyn twice to photograph our family, and have had the BEST experience both times. Kallyn is so warm – just being in her presence feels like a hug. She put us all at ease and made the photo session fun and relaxing for us. When we received the link to view the photos we couldn't believe how many special moments she had managed to document in just an hour and a half! She picks up on all the small details and captures them in the most beautiful way. We laughed and cried looking through all of the photos, and feel so grateful to have them. We had a family photo session with Kallyn, and we were blown away by how beautiful the photos turned out! Every single photo was a must-have, and there were over 70. Working with Kallyn is pure joy. She is so thoughtful, considerate, and genuinely wants to know your family. She came in bright and ready to go for an 8am shoot. The result is images that will be treasures for our family to keep for years and years to come. My kids were in such odd moods that morning and Kallyn still totally made it all work out. My friend Kallyn has mastered many arts...hugs, infectious laughter, kindness, mindfulness, and the ability to capture life in pictures. She has taken family pictures for us twice when each of my daughters were close to turning 1. Kallyn has been photographing my family since I was pregnant with my second child, and I keep going back to her so she can document the growth of our family. Her photographs are simply the best - the expressions on my kids, the vibrant colors, her ability to capture intimate and playful moments, it's all priceless. Simply put, Kallyn is magic! Her artistry behind the camera is a gift and I’m so thankful to have crossed her path. We have a 4 and 1 year old that are active and move ALL the time. Kallyn is fun, patient, connects to the kids and captures details of our family to cherish for the rest of our lives. As a parent with littles, snack breaks (or multiple) are a necessity, along with exploring and running around. I love how Kallyn expects this and also captures this in her photos! The energy she brings to life is icing on the cake!

So many good things to say about Kallyn! As we were dependent on weather, we had to reschedule and play by ear and Kallyn was so patient and flexible. She was able to take beautiful photos outside and inside our home, and really capture the curiosity and inherent cuteness of my daughter.
