I get my hair cut and colored at Elizabeth H and always leave loving my hair. Elizabeth does a wonderful job highlighting my hair and listens to any special requests. I have long and somewhat layered hair and I appreciate how she is able to maintain length, while also getting rid of split ends. If you are looking for a great highlight and cut this is the place to go!

I went to Elizabeth H and had a great experience. They were friendly, professional, and I left very satisfied with my haircut. My hair is curly and can be challenging to cut; I have ended up with wings on the side of my head in the past. I will definitely continue to come back!

This was my first visit and my last. I asked for a chin length bob, long layers and side tapered bangs. Bobs are probably the most common haircut, having been around for decades. I first started getting a bob haircut with side tapered bangs in Dallas, TX years ago and was always very happy with my cut. Since moving to the Bay area 12 years ago, I have used 8 different stylists at various salons and not one (1) of them has been able to give me a bob haircut with side tapered bangs. I have been a client for three years with Elizabeth. I had to find a new hairstylist after my old one retired. I spent a whole year getting my hair butchered and regrowing it trying to find someone who understood what my haircut needed. I found Elizabeth and she listened to me and worked with me to get the proper cut. She was very patient and after a few sessions, she created (and continues to) the perfect haircut for me. I get so many compliments on my hair and really appreciate her effort on giving me by best look. Thank you!

I’ve been coming to Elizabeth H since it opened in 2008 and getting my hair done by Elizabeth since before her salon opened. She does a great job with color (I’m a blonde) and wouldn’t trust anyone else to do my highlights. I have a busy work schedule and she’s always willing to accommodate and even comes in on her day off to do my hair. 5-star salon and staff, definitely recommend!

My 16 year old daughter and I just had a terrible experience here at Elizabeth H with the hair stylist, Kung Malecki and the Salon Manager, Carole Steinbrink. My daughter went in yesterday wanting about 3 inches trimmed from her long hair and some long layering to thin out her thick, wavy hair, as she doesn't like it to be so full and "puff out" as she says. She looked at 2 photos with Kung and they discussed it. Much to my daughter's dismay, she ended up with 8 inches taken off, with extensive, very short layering that doesn't even blend in well (some of it is above

Yesterday I got a GREAT manicure and a GREAT pedicure . As im leaving the salon the manicurist says, "if you mess up your nails come back and I'll touch it up". I told her that was very nice. I did mess it up cooking dinner for my family. Today at 4:00 I walked over . When the owner and the receptionist saw me, it was not a nice welcome. I said that the manicurist said she would fix 1 or two nails If I messed them up. I was inform that she "was working" as if I were there to play paddy cake with her.

Before Elizabeth had her own salon, I followed her wherever she went. I've always been able to tell her what I want, or tell her when I'm stumped about a hair issue. Now we design together the cut and color of my hair. So many people have complimented me that I keep a few of her cards in my purse. The salon is always clean and there is a variety of music playing. So if there's something I don't like, I know it won't last long, and besides that it is so low that it does fade into the background. This place is really mismanaged, the salon while
clean looks like pottery barn circa 2000. The owner clearly doesn't care about investing in the business or bringing in clientele and it's really obvious by the way she treats her stylists. I love my stylist (Kim Fecteau- cannot recommend her enough) but if I was walking by Id never just come in for a walk in. Elizabeth always seems like she can't be bothered to talk to me because she's not my stylist. Whatever happened to customer service? Also, how about some ambiance? Don't you want new business? Would have given this hair dresser a 5 star 15 years ago when I began receiving hair care. However, after years I did not feel special and my hair made me look older than I felt. I changed hair dressers to L'mor in Oakland and after just one hair cut and color (no perm), I received more compliments in the following weeks than I ever did when getting a hair cut, color or perm from Elizabeth. I am so glad I got out of my rut. I look so much younger and feel so great about myself. I really don't like being taken for granted and this is how I felt.

This review is based on my experience with Eva. I've been seeing her for awhile, and now that she's moved here it is so convenient. Right down the street from my apartment!
About a month ago I had a horrendous rash on my face that I had no idea where it came from. I went to go have a consultation with Eva and she knew exactly what it was and gave me some products to help alleviate it.
But my most recent service that i had with her was a Brazilian. She is my favorite for this. She makes it much less painful, if any pain at all. And she is so friendly, that the service goes by so quickly

I got a great haircut and some color from Elizabeth. The color didn't work; I couldn't tell the difference compared to before. That's as much my responsibility as hers. I'm not giving her 5 starts though because it wasn't a very relaxing experience. I think it's important for the stylist to "read" clients accurately before they start chatting. I prefer to relax and be quiet when I'm at a salon; Elizabeth kept up a continual conversation, telling me about herself and asking me many questions. I could have said I preferred not talking but that seems rude

It is so wonderful to finally find a hair salon that you will never leave. I have been going to Elizabeth for many years.. every haircut is SUPERB !!!! and still looks fantastic after 6 weeks... I used to color my hair myself.. but found her amazing skills.. made my color more beautiful, natural and longer lasting....
Elizabeth is such a gifted stylist and her salon is impeccable .... and relaxing

Come here and see Jessica Lee! I have never had a regular stylist or salon before I came here. Jessica Lee is very attentive to detail and skilled with her cuts and color. I have been coming to her (and coming back to her) over the past year.
I have thick straight hair, and she made sure to give me layers, texturize, and thin (just slightly) my hair. I didn't think it would make a difference, but it really does. I have been going to Elizabeth (the owner) for many, many years and my partner gets her hair cut with Tom. We love them both and are always satisfied with the results.
The place is ALWAYS clean, Carol the receptionist is friendly and professional and even though I have never had a pedicure, Halina seems to always have regular customers who come to her.
I can't speak to the other stylists there, but if you want a great haircut, ask for Elizabeth and/or Tom -- you just cannot go wrong with them.

Jessica Lee! This review is for the best stylist around, as far as I am concerned. Jessica is eminently talented, and she is a lovely person. She can work with your own ideas and make them better than you imagined they could come out, or she can suggest a cut that will work with your features. You can be confident either way. I've tried both approaches, and in both cases I left feeling great about my visit. Prices are most reasonable considering her skill. This review is about Tom. He has been cutting my eldest son's hair for a couple of years. He has always been satisfied with Tom's work. My youngest son, who is 7, just had his very first haircut, ever, by Tom. Well, I think his Nana cut a curl off when he was a baby, but that's it. He has worn his hair tied back in a braid daily for a couple of years. He had grown sick of getting his hair combed and being called a girl all the time. He was ready to chop it off and donate it to Locks of Love. He only wanted his hair cut by Tom because he knows he cuts his big brother's hair

So... I admit it. I neglected my brows for a while and they rebelled in revolt. To exact revenge, they grew out long and they conquered new ground. I went from cute to caveman in less than a week. I took advantage of a long weekend and came here for waxing. As soon as I laid eyes on Saira, I knew she was the one. Sorry to stereotype but she's of Indian descent and I swear my heart did a little leap because my brain was thinking "ohhhh she can probably do THREADING!!!" Threading is 100% better than waxing. It's been a few weeks since my appointment and it lasts much longer!
