Accelerated Resolution Therapy (A.R.T.) was developed by Laney Rosenzweig, LMFT in 2008 as she was looking for a treatment that is brief and effective.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is considered a leading approach for alleviating trauma & PTSD related distress. EMDR Therapy was developed by Francine Shapiro in 1987. Shapiro discovered that certain eye movements decrease negative emotions. The process entails a person thinking about a traumatic memory while experiencing a distraction via bi-lateral stimulation.

I saw Ina for several months engaging in Brainspotting therapy. As a therapist myself I found Ina to be extremely professional and skilled in her work. I found sessions to be extremely helpful to find the outcome I was seeking. I would highly recommend her for anyone looking to work through difficult life experiences and wanting to do somatic work !

Please stay away from Eagle Counseling! Ms. Lasmane does not listen. She looks out the window over your shoulder while you speak and then tries to repeat back what you said only it's completely inaccurate. She insisted that my partner and I meet individually for couples therapy (we had wanted to meet together), presumably so she could charge us twice (unethical!). We never got anywhere meeting separately. She spent one whole session coloring in a coloring book, didn't seem to know basic psychological principles, and never offered any useful suggestions. We very much regret wasting so much time
