Honoring a loved one who has passed is a personal and emotional experience. Every family handles this event in a way that best represents their values and the person's legacy. Up until 2015, the majority of Americans chose burial as the way to create a final resting place for their loved ones. Now, however, cremation has overtaken burial as the choice the majority of Americans prefer.
If your church or cemetery is considering the possibility of building a columbarium, Columbarium Planners can help you navigate through myriad considerations to find the right solution for you. Since 1994, we've set the standard for creating sacred spaces that honor and protect the cremains of those who have passed on.
After months or more of planning and conceptualizing what a unique columbarium sacred space can be, Columbarium Planners will have the information needed to proceed with construction. Our caring team is focused on creating a visual reminder that will bring peace and joy to the families and friends of those who have passed on.
Our designers will make a recommendation for the granite covers. However, we can provide different granite samples for you or your committee to choose from. Ultimately, the final decision is yours. Columbarium Planners will conduct a site evaluation and provide you with a report. During the site evaluation, we walk the property and identify at least three potential locations for your columbarium.
