Academy of Massage Therapy and Bodyworks students spend considerable time learning to apply what was taught in massage school gaining valuable hands-on experience. The Academy of Massage Therapy and Bodyworks is licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Privately Licensed Schools and endorsed by COMTA. Our goal is to produce the top licensed massage therapists in the Philadelphia area and to give our graduates the skills necessary to be successful in the exciting field of massage therapy!

I became a student here a little bit ago, and it has easily been the best decision of my life. The academy is such a great place to attend school as the class sizes are relatively small, making it extremely easy to get a lot of one on one time with instructors. I have been lucky enough to have class with two of the massage instructors and they were both extremely knowledgable and had a ton of passion for this industry. All of the staff and my fellow students make this a very easy place to go and learn something that I am now so very passionate about.

I received my schooling here it was ok. I think overall they should provide a parking permit to students.Not sure if this has changed. I parked in the residential areas when I went to school. Which was fine but I always worried I would get a ticket. It never happened though. I also recall there was time I had no massages that day. To my surprise I was told my client was waiting downstairs for me. Hmm??! No way I always knew before hand. What time my clients appointments were. I think what happened was there wasn’t a student available to massage this client. Instead of turning the client away

Went for my birthday yesterday & it was Amazing. Very warm and comfortable. I had Sherry for the 90min deep tissue OMG!! she was very informative very nice and made me feel super comfortable she explained every step and detail and did a SPECTACULAR job. I couldn't believe it when she told me I was her first actual client! Whoaaaa! I'd think sherry was trying to pull my leg LOL. she had to be doing this for FOREVER! Overall my experience here was Everything I wanted for a nice relaxing massage on my birthday! I would definitely recommend this place Especially for Sherry. I'm booking my next appointment

I graduated from this Academy 8 years ago and I've had tremendous success in the massage therapy since. So muc so, clients have followed me quite far from the originial treatment facility working with so many other LMT's I Learned that the academy was the best education I could have hoped for with by far the most affordable tuition. I have and will continue to recommend their students to established massage centers without fear because I know the training was great.

I graduated from AMTB November of 2015 and I have to say it was one of the BEST experiences of my adult life. The teachers were all phenomenal. They helped each student become the best therapist they could be and really prepare you for taking the MBLEx. The CEU couses are just as great. So many different ones to choose from and the prices are reasonable. I always suggest to fellow LMTs that they check out this school's CEU listing, and I always try to come back to this school for my CEUs because I trust them. Highly, highly recommend AMTB for any beginner or advanced MT!
