David Schmuckler, L.C.S.W., Licensed Clinical Social Worker, has over 30 years experience helping individuals and couples experience more joy and satisfaction in their relationships and lives. His professional experience includes working in a foster care agency, a community counseling center, coordinating an alcohol treatment program for the V.A. and serving as a dual diagnosis counselor for a private psychiatric hospital.
It is very sad and ironic, that the person whom we wish to love, and be loved by, more than anyone else is often the very person we consistently hurt, and are hurt by, more than anyone else. It does not have to be this way. There are some basic attitudes and behaviors - bad habits really - that can be changed if both parties are willing to work at it.
