Rost, Inc. began in 1985 with a vision of creating stunning and unique landscapes for central Missouri. Founders, Tim and Toby Rost began landscaping while attending the University of Missouri. Their focus was to create a business that provided customers with quality products and services, while also offering an ethical and pleasant work environment for employees.
For over 30 years, the heart of Rost Inc. has been providing quality commercial and residential landscape design and installation. With four full-time designers on staff, Rost, Inc. continues to create stunning outdoor spaces by offering our clients exceptional design services and detailed landscape installation throughout the state of Missouri.
Our Maintenance division is designed to be fully customizable and unique to each customer. Maintaining both residential and commercial properties, our trained staff works carefully and efficiently to keep your property looking beautiful. All of our Maintenance Account Managers have been with Rost, Inc. for many years.
Superior Irrigation has been serving mid-Missouri as a division of Rost, Inc. since 2006. We use only the highest quality and technologically advanced products from trusted manufacturers in order to meet your standards. We work to ensure efficiency, water management and problem-free service. Our reputation is anchored by our customers' loyalty and referrals to neighbors, friends, and family.

We hired Rost to pave our existing ugly, concrete-slab patio and build a large curved seating area. We have lived in our house for 20 years and really enjoy sitting outside. We had no idea how to begin this process, but now we wish we had done it sooner. We worked with Jacob, who patiently drew and re-drew our plans to meet our budget and expectations, offering suggestions that we had not considered. The crew of three worked continuously for 2 days. Not only did the finished work exceed our expectations, but they left our property in excellent condition--re-seeding bare spots, cleaning our windows

We recently had a new flagstone walkway installed by Rost and we couldn't be more pleased. Brendan was great to work with in the designing phase of the project in helping me pick out what type and color of material would look best with my home. Just prior to the actual construction, he returned to our home to suggest tweaking our plan slightly to eliminate potential issues with water drainage/pooling. The final result was perfect, both aesthetically and functionally. Highly recommend Rost!

By far, the best in Columbia! Some others are good, some are awful. Rost came and took over once another company was doing an awful job that was over budget, not what we asked for, messed a ton of things up, took 6 months and over...Rost came in and started all over...finished the job in 6 days! I will always use them from now on.
