Resilient Spine and Sports Health is a primarily conservative, movement based, non-invasive center for treating acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain for communities that surround the Midsouth. Historically, chiropractic has been associated with mostly spinal manipulation and passive treatments. At Resilient Spine and Sports Health, this will only be a piece of your treatment plan.

By using exercise and providing a positive experience with movement, Resilient Spine and Sports Health will fill the gap between passive and active care by getting you excited and actively engaged in your health and the healing process. The main goal of our team is to help coach you to better health.
Services
The focus at Resilient Spine and Sports Health is on quality of life. For too long the focus of healthcare has been on based primarily on symptom relief and passive care.

In our office, patients are actively engaged in all aspects of their care; together with the highly trained physicians and exercise specialists, patients will see that life is not truly experienced from the sidelines, that injury does not mean illness, that hurt does not always equal harm, and that positive experiences are possible with movement. We would like our patients to see that change is possible.
At Resilient Spine and Sports Health your health and wellness is our #1 priority. We are excited to welcome you as a part of the Resilient family. Below you will see a sampling of the treatment options available in our office; if you have additional questions or would like to schedule an appointment please contact us or call 901-821-0945.
At Resilient Spine and Sports Health we believe that movement is medicine. Our team uses the latest evidence to build custom movement based treatments which embody the definition of being and staying RESILIENT. By using specific movements and exercises our team will "guide by the side" and show each patient they are in control of their pain.
At Resilient Spine and Sports Health we have many options when it comes to treatments. One such treatment is spinal decompression therapy. We use non surgical spinal decompression to help treat back or neck pain, sciatica, bulging or herniated discs, worn spinal joints, and injured or diseased spinal nerve roots.
After careful evaluation by your chiropractor, it may be determined that dry needling could help improve your pain, range of motion, strength, and function. Dry needling will rarely ever be the only treatment used. Instead it is just one tool that our skilled physicians may implement. No patient will ever be forced into having this performed and all patients are informed of all risks and benefits associated with dry needling.

I recently went to The Yard 901 location and it was such a refreshing experience! I’ve had back pain for about 20+ years. I’ve been to numerous chiropractors, sat through pointless videos, and popped and cracked with little to no actual help. These Drs helped customize different stretches and exercises specifically for my pain and I’ve actually had immediate results. I’m so relieved to have found them!
I highly recommend them.

I came in to see Dr. James to find a resolution for my back and neck pain. He was extremely professional and very thorough. He made me feel very comfortable and explained everything in a way that I could fully understand. I got my first adjustment done and I honestly feel like a million bucks! I was nervous at first because of all the horror stories, but it was a peace of cake and not very scary at all. If you want effective treatment I highly recommend Dr. James. He will listen to you and get you on the track to being and feeling better!

Dr. Justin is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of physical issues. He treated me for chronic back issues using physical therapy I've not tried before - to great success. I also suffer from TMJ. A year ago I spent a great deal of money with a TMJ specialist on xrays, as well as day and night appliances. This treatment helped however I still had significant pain after nine months. Dr. J was able to help me with just a few stretching exercises and needling. My pain is almost unnoticeable. I am very pleased with my results.

I’ve been dealing with lower back pain for over a year and with the help of Dr. Justin James and his staff . I am learning to manage and relieve my pain by being resilient. He has shown me that it’s not always about rest that helps your body but staying moving and that you can be in control of your pain.

Justin has been amazing! With his instruction, my rehab has been much more productive than my first effort with a physical therapist. He assigns only a few different exercises at a time but they are effective in giving me measurable progress. As a result, I am more encouraged and motivated to stick with the exercises in spite of the discomfort involved! Highly recommend!
