In 1966 Gassner Company was officially founded by James Gassner. The company started as a small accounting firm providing tax assistance in central Wisconsin. Since then, the firm has grown and added numerous service areas. Our knowledgeable staff now include four CPAs as well as five paraprofessionals plus additional support staff that allow the firm to service individuals and businesses across the country.

Located on Wausau's West side, the accountants at Gassner Company offer over 130 years cumulative experience in accounting and tax issues.
Services
We annually prepare a wide variety of individual tax returns ranging from a simple one W-2 tax return to complex tax returns involving several different states and flow through entities. We also prepare estate, trust and gift tax returns. We provide reviewed financial statement services to many diverse business industries including manufacturing, construction and non-profit.

Do not let Paul Gassner touch your finances. I had my taxes done by him a few years ago, and recently received an audit from the IRS claiming that my Federal refund was not reported. When I investigated why, I found out that Paul Gassner did not include the info on my 1040! I then emailed him hoping for some kind of resolution, he could at least pay the interest the Feds are charging me for the oversight years ago. After all, I did pay for him to do my taxes properly, and he didn't. I received no response, no apology, and I am stuck with the back taxes and interest charges. In the DirecTV commercial
