Services
Connie has been in the dental profession since 1974 after graduating from Dental Assisting School. She has been with the practice since 1984 and loves working in our unified staff setting, as well as getting to know our patients on both a personal and professional level. When not in the office, Connie enjoys working in her flower garden, socializing with friends, playing with her beloved dog "B", and spending time with her granddaughter!
Our team values your trust and we're devoted to creating a positive and comfortable experience for you and your family. Dr. Lewis has been practicing in Wichita, Kansas for 30 years. During your initial visit he will take his time to listen to you, learn about your dental needs, and patiently answer any of your questions.
Upon completing his professional training at the prestigious Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago, Dr. John Lewis returned to his hometown of Wichita to join the practice of friend and mentor Dr. Tonk Mills. He and his wife Wanda live in Andover; they have three adult children and an active German Shephard dog.
We know you have many choices when choosing a dentist in Wichita, so we have made requesting an appointment a simple process! Once you have requested an appointment, our office coordinator Connie will contact you via e-mail or phone to confirm your appointment. We accept most traditional insurance plans, contact our office to verify acceptance of your plan.

I have been a patient of Dr. John Lewis for about 40 years. I have been very satisfied with the dental care that I have received at his office. Dr. Lewis always answers any questions I have, including some general dental questions I have had, not directly related to that days procedure. I would recommend his practice to anyone.

What a great experience. Connie at the front desk was very pleasant and such a nice person. She made me an appointment right away.
Jennifer the assistant was a very pleasant and caring individual...and then there's Dr Lewis. Not only did he take care of my adjustment for my dentures, but he also had my old lowers fixed that looked perfect when he handed them back to me.
Not only would I recommend Dr Lewis, but you are missing out of the best dental experience one can have if you don't make your next appointment

Best dental experience ever! It appears they only hire professional, competent, kind-hearted staff! I was greeted warmly by the receptionist, was made to feel so comfortable by the accommodating dental assistants, and Dr. Lewis is without a doubt the BEST DENTIST I've ever had!

Dr. John Lewis goes above and beyond to ensure the patient is comfortable and to provide the highest quality of dentistry. I visited today and had restoration work done on my two front teeth. Wichita Dental Group has been amazing! Not only did Connie, the receptionist, talk me through which insurance is best but she made sure I knew exactly how much everything would cost before my appointment. They are very open & honest. Let me start by saying since my dentist retired I hadn’t seen a trusted dentist in almost 2years. Today I had the pleasure of meeting DR. John Lewis and his staff. I was greeted promptly and made to feel extremely comfortable even after I was taken back to a room. I love the authenticity of the office and how realistic Dr. Lewis explained everything to me that had to do with my appointment. I’ll definitely be coming back to do business with them ; it’s not often you find a genuine staff that listens carefully to respond appropriately in a very timely manner .

It’s been years since I’ve been to a dentist because I have not had the greatest experience with one in my past. My fiance told me about this office and I wish I met Dr. Lewis and his team sooner. His team was very welcoming and helpful. Dr. Lewis took his time to answer all my questions and he explained everything in detail. I actually felt comfortable to be in a dental office for once.

I recently had the pleasure of being at Dr. Lewis's office for one of my clinical rotations. I simply cannot find words great enough to describe how wonderful he and his staff are! I have seen first hand how his patients get treated and it is heart warming. This office truly cares for each and every one of their patients. They deliver top of the line dental care and they do so with compassion. Connie upfront is the first smiling face you will see, but definitely not the last! Dr. Lewis and his crew are the BEST.
