Spring area and graduated from Spring High School. University. He then attended Texas Chiropractic College where he graduated Cum Laude with Omega Psi Honors. Additionally he was on the Dean's list all three years as well as being a member of the Pi Kappa Chi business fraternity.

After his graduation in 1993 he was the primary treating physician for a large rehabilitation practice supervising all aspects of patient rehabilitation and coordinating care with the staff medical doctors, counselors and physical therapists.He also gained additional experience as the primary treating physician in a pain management and rehabilitation practice.
