Shellhouse Funeral Home, Inc., began serving the families of Aiken in the Fall of 1993. The building we are located in was once the location of the Southern Bell Telephone Company. Many changes were made to accomodate Aiken's need for a better choice in funeral service. As a family owned and operated business, we have been able to provide the best service possible to families in times of need.
Even though all funeral homes advertise "cremation services", however, most people are surprised to learn that the cremation process itself is subcontracted out to third parties in unknown locations. With Aiken's only on-site crematory and seven Certified Crematory Operators on staff, we can assure your loved one never leaves our care.
Staff members of Shellhouse Funeral Home and Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions.
