Dr. Heath and his expert staff here at Pittsboro Family Dentistry offer a wide range of dental services from routine cleanings to more advanced procedures like mini dental implants. No matter what you need, Dr. Heath and his staff will work closely with you to make sure you're not only informed and safe, but that you receive the very best possible dental care.
Mini Dental Implants are a fast, yet very effective way to stabilize your dentures or to replace your missing teeth. The mini dental implant procedure is only minimally invasive and can be done quickly. The mini dental implant procedure is a much less involved process than the conventional dental implants.
Ideally, most general dentistry is preventative. Visiting your dentist regularly - at least once every six months - ensures proper oral hygiene and functionality. Regular checkups prevent the development of serious dental problems that may require costly treatment. Frequent visits to your dentist will allow for exceptional dental health.
Your regular exam will take about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Each regular exam includes a detailed teeth cleaning, in which we will clean, polish, and rinse your teeth to remove any tartar and plaque that have built up on the tooth's surface. We suggest visiting our office every six months to give yourself the chance to talk to the doctor about any questions you may have about your oral health.

Absolutley would and will recommend Pittsboro Family Dental. I called today with a dental emergency and had an appointment for the next day. When my situation worsened, I called and got in the same day!!! The office staff was amazing, the dental staff were the best and the doctor was attentive, thorough, professional and made me feel very comfortable with not only the procedure I had today but also with the plan for the future of my dental health. Yesterday was my first visit to this office. I called and said I had a toothache. They got me in same day. Everyone was very nice and they took their time finding the problem. Explained everything to me and gave me options. I would definitely recommend going here if you are looking for a new dentist.

Just had my first cleaning at Pittsboro Family Dentist and all I have to say is, "WOW!" What a wonderful experience! my hygienist Jessica was absolutely amazing as she took her time and was very detailed! The BEST cleaning I've ever had and she is such a friendly person! Dr. Heath, he was very nice and knowledgeable and not a pushy dentist at that! I was glad I made the decision to start going here and I will definitely be back in September!

I just had my first visit and everyone was very kind and attentive. Dr Heath is friendly and did exceptional work! I would recommend checking on this office when searching for dental work. Even amid the COVID pandemic, the staff practiced full awareness to following CDC guidelines as best as possible. Their attention gave me increased trust and comfort in the work they do.

We had a whole family visit as we are new to the area. They were absolutely amazing with my two and four year old. It was my son's first visit and he did so well thanks to the amazing hygienists who helped our family today. And to the entire team for being patient with all four of us and the back and forth between rooms. The dentist was great too, as was all the staff we came in contact with during the process!

I appreciate that he took the patience to let the novocaine fully take effect (like 20 minutes) but it made the world of difference for my experience. I have had other dentist just rush through it and I feel every bit of the drill. The staff are wonderful and understanding. Would definitely recommend if you have had any horrible past experiences with other dentists.

I absolutely hate going to the dentist! But the staff was so friendly I almost enjoyed it! My hygienist, Julie, and Dr. Heath made sure I was very comfortable. I appreciated their kindness.
