We always visit this place when we stay at Rocky Gap. The brick oven pizza is delicious and the Italian specialties are great as well. Salads are always fresh, cold and crisp with homemade dressings. The building has quite an interesting history, the staff is attentive and efficient. Highly recommend.

We went to Puccini’s to celebrate my cousin’s 50th birthday while staying in the area. Definitely bring an appetite as their portions were incredible!! So much food at reasonable prices!! And every bit of it was delicious including the holiday drinks we ordered from the drink menu. We ordered mozzarella sticks and the Wood Fired Shrimp dip as appetizers. The marinara sauce was delicious as well as the shrimp dip. The house salads were fresh and the homemade Italian dressing was awesome. My cousin ordered the lasagna and I ordered the pasta primavera which they customized for me by adding marinara

Decided to try Puccini for the first time and for a special date. The place is warm, inviting, with an old rustic charm. Servers were pleasant. And that’s where the good review ends because the food was very disappointing. (Olive Garden would be a step up in comparison). Place was not busy and I now understand why.
My date picked the lasagna which was served cold on a hot plate. Sent back to be warmed up and brought back still cold in the center. I picked the chicken Parmesan (from a limited menu that had printing smears thus hard to read all the choices…was least Likely to be disappointing

Having to wait for more than an hour after ordering for even salads to come out is ridiculous. Food was barely average. The pizza was great but all the other entrees our party ordered came out lukewarm and the onion rings were cold and soggy. The restaurant was only maybe half full so it wasn’t like the kitchen was slammed. Had to send one dish back because it wasn’t what we ordered. This place used to be fantastic, but the service, food, and atmosphere were lack-luster at best.

Building is like an old house that is not very accessible for those with mobility issues. Parking is tight in lot like many Maryland locations. Large menu. Some items not available due to pricing and disturbing in these Covid times. Service was great. Have seasonal items like pumpkin ravioli. Made customized drinks for table near us. Ample portions. Tastes great. Would recommend and will likely visit again if/when visiting Rocky Gap Casino just up the road.

I have always loved this place and I always will. I have eaten here more times than I'd like to admit but that should speak volumes of this place.
All of the years I traveled to and from Hagerstown, Frederick, Germantown, Baltimore and Washington, D.C. I would stop in here with my business associates after work or with my girlfriend at the time and we'd get a wood fired pizza, salads, appetizers, a bottle of wine and/or beers.
The downstairs of this place is dark, mysterious, romantic and just very cool. I always enjoyed sitting down there and having a drink while they prepared my pizza

The food was delicious. My husband got the eggplant parmesan with linguine noodles. I got the chicken parmesan with linguine and marinara. The marinara has the perfect hint of sweetness. Their house wine was lovely and my husband enjoyed the IPA'S very much. the zuchinni fries are amazing just a big order for 2 lol maybe get the side if it's just 2 people. There's a lot of history in the building, it's a nice atmosphere. I came for dinner it was rather busy, but our server was nice.

There has to be a first time for a last time ... right ? Well tonight was that night after passing by Puccini's for years I finally decided to dine . While the overall appearance is nice and clean and a friendly staff for the most part the service and food were nothing to right home about . I came to dine with family and while we did share a both unfortunately meals came staggered . I ordered a simple chicken parmesan , it came out hot and looked great but the noodles were over cooked and soggy , the sauce tasted like a can of ragu with maybe a few extra onions , as for the chicken it was

This restaurant was amazing, especially during a time where most restaurants are understaffed and the food isn't up to par. My husband and I are traveling and was having a hard time finding a restaurant to get food from. I called 15 minutes before closing and asked if I could put in a takeout order. The woman who took my order was very polite and had no problem taking an order. I walked into the restaurant and was welcomed. When my husband and I got back to our hotel and started eating the pizza we couldn't believe how tasty the food was. We ordered the individual Margherita pizza and

Don't Bother
To begin with, we were seated in a timely manner. Next to the restroom (could see empty tables across the room) which should be last resort. And our server was barely pleasant. The meal: I love calamari. Order it whenever it's on the menu. This was the worst. The clue: oh your orders of calamari will be a few minutes more. The cook has to fetch another bag from the freezer! (Oh no! An Italian restaurant and you don't prepare/cook your own???) They were terrible. The batter/breading used had waaaaay too much cornmeal and result was gritty and way too crunchy (slightly

Up the road a couple of miles from downtown Cumberland, Puccini's is a fun restaurant with good food. I sat at the bar for quite a while as my gf gave a talk in a room upstairs. As I sat at the bar and chatted with other diners, I was pleased to see the good draft list.
The servers were all nice and checked me for refills or food options. The small (in name only as it was very generous) Caesar salad was delicious and I liked that anchovies were optional but not extra. Later I ordered a plain cheese pizza, my test of a pizza is a basic cheese since if you can't make that pie then it

Not many places to visit in Cumberland, but this is a must go! I recommend calling ahead to make reservations. There are two parking lots, one below the restaurant and one in front. The front one is a little smaller as a lot of the hotel guests park there. You can sit outside or inside but I recommend outside.
It is an Italian restaurant and their food was very good. I went for the pizza and ordered the margarita based on the pictures. I have to say mine was very undercooked and still doughy. I was very disappointed. I did try the pepperoni pizza and that one was a winner. Definitely try the

Puccini's is located in an historic house with a wonderful atmosphere. It's cosy, warm, and friendly. Their wood fired pizzas are so good, I got one to go after I'd eaten my meal.
Today I had their French onion soup, the "cake on a plate," and a side pasta with marinara sauce.
The soup was dark and full flavored, covered with melted cheese, and had just enough croutons hidden inside. The cake was a large, five-inches, crab cake atop a huge bowl of chopped greens. The pasta was penne. The marinara was very simple and slightly sweet.
I ate everything except about half of the salad greens, so took

I've stopped at this place on long road trips and enjoyed wood fired pizza, hearty sandwiches and drinks indoors. Nowadays, we're all on the lookout for places with decent outdoor seating, and once again this place delivers. Ample outdoor, shaded and responsibly spaced seating - which looks like it would be especially fun during college game days! While once empty seating area might have looked less than lively, in the pandemic era it looks downright comforting! The pizza I ordered was terrific too - fresh ingredients, earthy sauce and excellent crust. Will be stopping by every time I

Dining COVID-style in phase of reopening - respect to all the staff doing their job under those circumstances- Thank you all. We called ahead to make sure they are open and they will have space. Nice big patio, no issues for keeping social distance. You can get the menu in paper or online with a QR code. Still I need to get used to drinking the wine out of plastic cups ;-). Nevertheless they make really good wood fire pizzas and I really liked the service. And all this in a historical ambiance - the building serves as a hospital during the civil war.
