With a commitment to excellence in funeral service, Colonial Funeral Home began providing dignified funerals to the families in the Brady/McCulloch County area in 1980 regardless of race, creed, religion or financial ability. In 1986, Colonial Funeral Home moved to its current location at 1001 South Elm Street, the former Brady Funeral Home facility.
We understand that making the many decisions which come at a time of loss can be difficult. We offer our support by providing you with two options as you consider making immediate arrangements. A funeral service is a very personal and individual ceremony for family and friends. The Leatherwood Family and close associates are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to our staff.
Our central location in Brady is located on South Elm Street is easily reached from all parts of town. Graced by lovely landscaping, the setting is both serene and inviting. Inside, there's the feeling of being in a fine home, beautifully furnished. Our funeral home was designed with the families we serve in mind.

Martin Leatherwood and his family are top notch! I'm a fellow funeral home owner and operate very similar in that our family truly owns and operates the funeral home. I can't recommend Leatherwood enough and know that when you choose them to take care of your loved one and your family you are in the greatest hands in Brady and McCulloch County.
