Our story began with me hanging drywall and doing metal framing as a 17-year-old. I worked my way up through the construction industry, working with HVAC, house framing, and sheetrock. Then, in 2005, I discovered roofing. Early on, it was all about the challenge-roofing is physically and mentally challenging, and requires focus, dedication, and attention to detail.
I've seen a lot of turnover in this industry over the years, and with every colleague that said this wasn't the industry for them, I just wanted it more! When I met Tip Top Roofing founder Steve Rorem, I knew I'd found my mentor. He taught me how to value people above all else-our local homeowners, our employees, and our community-and he took care of his guys.
