Locks of Love is a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in the United States and Canada under age 21 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis. We meet a unique need for children by using donated hair to create the highest quality hair prosthetics.

Dropped my niece off for her cut and highlights. After she paid, the front girl gave her back the wrong change and she denies that she did? Seriously. Then she wants to be disrespectful, what a business when you cannot be kind and work correctly.

I have been going to Bushwackers since my son was in a pumpkin seat. He’s now 27. As you can see, this is the only salon I trust to properly deal with my naturally curly hair. Their extensive knowledge and skills are truly unmatched. The stylists go above and beyond to continue their learning. They stay on top of the latest trends and are always willing to share their knowledge. I had my first experience at the salon a few weeks ago with Amy as my stylist. Being a mom, you don’t always take time to take care of yourself and my highlights were very grown out. Amy did an amazing job making sure me new highlights were blended seamlessly with the old. Everyone there was very friendly and professional. The whole salon was very warm and made me feel right at home.

I’ve been going to Bushwackers for a few years now. The staff is always friendly as soon as you walk in and are quick to help you. I see Kayla, who is absolutely wonderful. I love what she does to my hair each time and I’m always confident in her trying something new. She has not disappointed yet! I will undoubtedly be a lifelong client of Bushwackers.

My boyfriend and I went in today and each had different stylists and both ended up not getting what we asked for. He couldn’t even get the fade he asked for. Mine on the other hand looks absolutely nothing like the pictures I provided. The cut would be good if it was anything like what I asked for. It’s entirely too short, not angled and I also did not get the fade I desired. I’m sorely disappointed and embarrassed to be seen in public after this terrible haircut.

Alli was amazing. My hair was in pretty awful condition. I got an amazing color, an adorable cut and a treatment plan that has made my hair so much healthier!!! I made my next appointment before leaving. She took photos before I left and my thoughts were that it wasn't my head and instead I was looking at a movie star or a model. It is so great and I am so happy!!! Thanks again Alli!!! (Watched Christy work - also very nicely done cuts and colors - while I was there and chatted with her, they collaborated on the cut, color and the style for mine so Hat's off to her to! I'm the ultimate snob when it comes to who does what to my hair. (THE WORST). So when I saw magical pictures of rose gold ombres on pinterest, I knew finding the right person to do it wouldn't be easy. Mind you, I haven't dyed my hair in 10 YEARS!! SO--my lovely NYC bff convinced me Bushwackers was the place to go. She introduced me to Abbey and I swear to you, she's worth the cross country flight. I'm new to the area and am extremely picky about my hair. I've had bang trim horror stories and am always worried about trying new salons. Abbey did an absolutely amazing job. The rest of the staff is welcoming, and the quality of all of the haircuts I saw on people leaving were great! The pricing is affordable even for my broke college student budget, and I absolutely love how my hair turned out. I highly recommend this salon.
