Through the divorce suit, you'll work with the court and attorneys to determine the disposition of your joint property, spousal support issues, and custody and child support issues. Like a divorce, a dissolution ends in the termination of the marriage.

Mr. Kirkland is hands down an amazing, experienced, and knowledgeable attorney! He’s represented me before and I had the outcome I wanted. He’s currently representing me again and I have faith in him and his expertise. I have also recommended my family members to seek counsel from him and I don’t do that unless I am fairly confident that they will be as pleased and well taken care of as I was.

Hired Craig Sams to represent me during post degree filings. Mr. Sams talked a great game during the hiring process until it came time to actually accomplish anything. He was arrogant, dismissive and rude on more than one occasion. To say it is all about the money is an understatement when dealing with this firm ($55 to forward an email with no explanation or thoughts, just hit send). Kirkland & Sommers needs to realize that they are not doing a customer a favor by representing them, it is actually the other way around. I have been taken for $2800 and I am no closer to having my issue resolved

Mr. Kirkland, is amazing and got me through a very difficult, long, and contentious divorce. He helped me keep full custody of my child during and after the divorce. He saw through all my ex's attempts and dirty tricks to try and slander and paint me in a bad light during the long fight. He came through like a champion. I recommend his and his law firm to anyone going through a divorce. I am very happy with the outcome. He fights for what is right.

Hired Brian S. Many years ago in a high conflict custody dispute. I can tell you that this is the attorney for you if you are in a high conflict case. He is honest and reliable and genuinely CARES! He is on point and very compassionate and a great advocate for you. If you are scared and hesitant about hiring a lawyer and who to trust please trust me and go with this man. He is incredible and will work hard for you. You wont find another attorney out there that is as honest and caring about you and your case.

Hired Brian Sommers to help my husband get parenting time/custody after bio mom ripped his daughter out of his life for the umpteenth time. Brian has been worth his weight in gold so far. Mr. Kirkland was recommended to us and he did an excellent job! He understand our case when no other attorney did. He put in a lot of work doing research in our case and he did an excellent job in the court room. The communication was also great although we are a military family and we live out of state.
