A sealant is a tooth-colored plastic material that is usually applied to back permanent teeth to cover the tiny grooves on the biting surfaces of our teeth. The sealant creates a slippery surface barrier that prevents the buildup of the food particles, which simply slide off of the tooth's surface, preventing decay.

I admire my dentist tenacity in working through some very difficult times while maintaining her professionalism. I was experiencing some gum pain. Dr. Colbert’s office got me right in. Examination and x-rays diagnosed problem quickly. Relieved pain and sent me home with antibiotics. I will return in 2 weeks for follow up with Dr Colbert. The office took my insurance without question. All protocols are followed in her office to prevent transmission of Covid. I will be back for my Dental care. Thank you Dr Colbert for caring.
