Shira Renee Zeman is an attorney and founding member of Zeman and Petterson, PLLC. Prior to forming Zeman and Petterson, Shira founded Zeman Law Office, LLC. Her practice built on her experience as an Associate Attorney at Yacub Law Offices and a Student Attorney at the George Washington University Law School Immigration Clinic, where she represented clients in family and humanitarian-based immigration cases.

Rachael Petterson is an attorney and founding member of Zeman and Petterson, PLLC. Prior to forming Zeman and Petterson, Rachael was an attorney at Benach Ragland, LLP, and Yacub Law Offices, where she represented clients in family and humanitarian-based immigration cases.

Her practice built on her experience as the Interim Director of the Immigration Clinic at George Washington University Law School, where she supervised students representing clients before the Arlington Immigration Court and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.Rachael previously worked as an Attorney and Graduate Assistant to Professor Alberto Benitez, the Director of the George Washington University Immigration Clinic.

Chris Carr is an associate attorney at Zeman and Petterson, PLLC. He represents clients before the Immigration Courts, in matters including asylum claims, cancellation of removal, and complex removal issues. He also focuses on affirmative asylum claims, waivers of inadmissibility, U-Visas, and family and humanitarian-based petitions.

Joanna Casasola is Zeman and Petterson's administrative assistant. She was born in Guatemala City, Guatemala, and came to the United States when she was ten years old. She graduated from Strayer University with an associate degree in business administration in June of 2009. She has worked in the legal field since 2001.
