Burns Mortuary Of Pendleton
Burns Mortuary of Pendleton, established in 1925, has been helping families cope with the loss of a loved one for over 80 years. Family owned and operated, Brian & Beverly LaFollette strongly believe in treating their families with compassion, integrity, and professionalism they would want to receive.

Like any good friend, we understand the importance of providing a comforting hand in a time of need. We recognize that every individual and family we serve has lived a life that is uniquely their own. We take the time to listen and learn about their lives and help them plan a funeral or memorial service that reflects the lifestyle and final wishes of their loved one.
Services
At Burns Mortuary of Pendleton, Brian & Beverly LaFollette take great pride in what we do. Provide a peaceful and soothing environment where people can gather to honor the life of a loved one. We believe that the success of any business requires dedication and professionalism. In our business, in particular, it also requires a great deal of kindness, compassion and attention to detail.
Our staff is comprised of dedicated and licensed professionals with the experience to answer all your questions regarding our services. Please feel free to contact any of our staff members at any time. Carrying on the Burns Mortuary of Pendleton tradition that began in 1949 with Charles and Alerita Burns treating each and every family with the professionalism, compassion and integrity, they would want their family to receive in a time of need.
It is the goal of Burns Mortuary of Pendleton to help families complete the final arrangements and to provide professional guidance and direction during a difficult time. Funerals serve an important purpose: they allow us to recognize a life that was lived and acknowledge that the life has come to an end.
Cremation simply expedites the process of reducing a body to bone fragments through application of intense heat. What is done before or after the cremation is up to the survivors, or up to you. You can relieve the burden of these decisions by pre-planning your arrangements in advance of need so that your wishes will be honored.
When planning a funeral, one of the many decisions you will make is where your loved one's final resting place will be. Depending on whether you choose a cemetery, your home, your garden or some other location, you will need to choose an appropriate protective container. Your funeral director will match your specific needs to all available options, which may include caskets, vaults, or urns.

The worst experience ever.
We had my Aunties remains shipped to her sister in North Dakota. She is to be buried in ND with family. When they opened the box, the remains were in the shipping box, nothing else. Clear plastic bag, with metal tag. No One can never unsee something like that.
Her remains should have been in a velvet bag. How sad, my heart hurts for my mother and father in law to see that.
DEVISTATING! SAD! HEARTBREAKING!

Was surprised that no one has posted a review. So . . . Burns Mortuary of Pendleton conducted a most professional funeral for my father in California in 2015. My father died hear in Pendleton, but he was to be buried with my mother in California. Burns took care of all the arrangements and I was able to concentrate on sharing with family and friends that came to the funeral service. Thank you Burns Mortuary for your caring and professionalisim.
