Services
At Galligan Chiropractic, our emphasis is on total health. From the very first appointment, we work with our clients to increase and improve overall health, through compassionate spine care, regular maintenance and by empowering them to make good choices in proper nutrition and preventative health care.
We understand that arriving at a doctor's office for the first time can be nerve racking. If you've never experienced chiropractic care before, you may not know what to expect when you come to our Wilmington chiropractic office for the first time. Filling out paperwork, learning new faces and names, and getting to know your way around the office can be an overwhelming experience.
Chiropractic care is like building a house - certain things have to happen in a particular order in order for everything to stand strong and work correctly. When building a house, if you tried to put up your walls before you had a solid foundation, your walls would be weak and eventually collapse. If you tried to put on your roof before the walls were ready, you would run into the same problem.
Most people are under the assumption that if they don't feel any pain that there is nothing wrong with them - that they are healthy. Unfortunately, pain is a very poor indicator of health. In fact, pain and other symptoms frequently only appear after a disease or other condition has become advanced.
Most chiropractors regard the elimination of symptoms as the easiest part of a persons care. If all that the chiropractor does is to reduce the pain and stop there, the chances of the condition recurring are much greater. In order to prevent a rapid recurrence of symptoms, it is necessary to continue receiving care even though your symptoms are gone.

I cannot recommend Dr. Gail enough. She was fantastic working with my senior horse in her last days and educating me on the process throughout our appointment. Blaze was so uncomfortable that she couldn’t even walk straight or walk beside me, but Dr. Gail came out to our place and helped her get some relief after only her first visit! I could tell a huge difference in my girl right away! Sadly, my girl crossed the rainbow bridge due to a tumor, but I know she felt so much better in her last days thanks to Dr. Gail. We appreciated all your help more than you know and thank you so much for your

Lillie, my eight year old border collie, has been off of anti-inflammatory and nerve pain meds for over a month after taking them for a year. She is shaking toys again and walking a mile which she has not wanted to do for about a year. It took time to get to that point, but it has been highly worth it. I recommend following Dr. Gail’s recommendations of continued care and being patient if you have a dog with spinal pain. It’s so good to see Lillie happy again.

I brought my dog to Gail after a car wreck years ago. She made my dog feel worlds better! Now my dog is 13 and having issues That my vet was unable to diagnose but did recommend I bring her to a chiropractor. So of course I brought her back to Gail. Gail found that she was out of alignment along spine, pelvic and neck. Within 24 hours my dog was acting much more active and friendly. We have more appointments to see Gail. I highly recommend you bring your pets there. My dog is a small dog and takes some accidental tumbles and jumps so gail can be a life saver.

Had appt with Dr Galligan this past Thursday with my dog. He slipped outside. After a couple weeks of pain meds and steroids, there was no improvement. Dr Galligan examined my dog and will begin treatments on Monday. Her demeanor and honest approach convinced me to have her help. She said it may take 4 or 5 visits, but was very positive ! I am anxious for the treatments to begin.
