There is no feeling in this world like holding your baby in your arms. Whether they're only a few days old or 5 years, they're still your baby and you'll hold them forever. Staring at their sweet face, holding their tiny hands and nibbling on their little toes. Those days and years go by so so fast, and all you have when they're grown is your memories and photographs.
Since becoming a mother myself I have viewed family photographs in a whole new light. I now see how truly fleeting time is and how quick babies grow up. In the midst of routines, teething and the sleepless nights, it's so easy to forget to stop and enjoy the sweet moments in motherhood. I now love capturing those same little moments during sessions, I look for the things I would love to see and remember as a mom.

You always hear how profoundly motherhood changes a woman's life, but I never really understood it until having my own little babe. Not only did it change my daily way of living (no more random trips to Target!) but I truly did not understand how much more I could love. Motherhood changed me, all parts of me.
All sessions with me include an email or phone consultation to plan out your session. You can choose from the studio's many robes for maternity sessions, as well as wraps, bows and bloomers for newborns. We will also discuss what your goals for your session are, and what you plan to do with your new family photos.
Do newborn sessions really need to be scheduled in the first 7-14 days? Yes. In that second week of life babies are still very sleepy, squishy and moldable. They are used to being tucked up in your womb in a little ball. After those first 14 days their alert times are more frequent and they start stretching out.

Ashley has such a gift!! She makes your sessions so fun and easy and somehow manages to capture the sweetest moments during them. My favorite thing about her is that her style is timeless. Trends come and go but the photos she delivers will always be beautiful because they are that classic beauty that will never go out of style. Every time we work with her it feels like Christmas morning waiting for our images. Ashley is truly the best in the area and you will never regret booking with her!

We have used Ashley twice now for our daughter's baby photos. Her studio is beautiful, she conducts herself as true professional and her pictures are one of a kind. She is so patient and kind in every session and she really has a way of making my daughter smile! I can't imagine going to anyone other than her.

Ashley is hands down the BEST. Not only is she wildly talented, she genuinely cares about her clients and it shows in her work, attitude, and warm personality. We have hired her to capture every major milestone in our life so far, and would recommend her a million times to anyone we know (or don't! ;)). Ashley is - and will always be - our 'lifer' photographer, and is a truly wonderful person and friend.

Ashley was recommended by a friend who said her only regret of her wedding was that she didn't change the day so that Ashley could photograph it. WOW - what a recommendation. I have to say, Ashley was wonderful. We loved her photography style and her personality is awesome to match! She was a great resource when we were planning and she made us feel at ease the day of. Her and her day-of assistant were fabulous. They were not over bearing but they got the job done. Ashley is wonderful! A Facebook friend of mine used her for her wedding, and I thought 'dang those are literally the prettiest pictures I have ever seen' ....subsequently I had to have her for my own wedding and my pictures are be-you-tiful. I absolutely recommend her for your photo needs. I've already booked her again for a family shoot, and I am SO excited! She's super cool, too, which is a perk! :)
