I am a University of Florida graduate, born and raised, that now calls east TN home! I grew up learning the in's and out's of a small family business and what it means to put in a full days work serving others. The early leadership development that was fostered through my service as a Florida FF officer has enabled me to develop a team that is empowered to help others.
My experience in the insurance industry started as an all lines claim rep where I attained my B.S. Insurance Institute of America- Associate in Claims, where I served my local community for 5 years prior to moving to TN. I started my State Farm career where I was with an agent for over 5 years. I am currently a member of the Sevierville Chamber of Commerce and am eager to become more involved in the local community.

I would like the world to know that melissa long state farm is the best in sevierville, tn for being an agent for state farm insurance, been with them along time, they really do care about their clients, they know you by name , they are the sweetest bunch in that office, i look forward to see anyone of them when i go to pay the bill, they are so helpful when upgrading insurancewhether be home , renters, or car im glad to say they take good care of me always, just to let you know they get a five star rating in my books

I just moved here a couple of months ago and was in an accident leaving a restaurant. The nicest lady stopped to make sure we were ok. She was out with her daughters when she heard the crash and rushed over. After finding out we had State Farm she knew exactly what to do to help us even though we were with a different agent. She made all the calls necessary, including a tow truck. Then stood outside with my daughter and I (on a cold, dark November night) waiting for the tow truck to arrive. Jarvesa was an absolute life saver!! I really don’t know what I would have done if she didn’t stop and

I have been with this agent since 2016 and I never started experiencing issues until a year or so ago. Just different things like I couldn't get a receipt one time when I paid my policy, the next time my money was applied to the WRONG policy. Recently I was taken off as the primary driver OF MY OWN CAR, which caused my rates to change. I was told it was caused by corporate, but was also told I have to request any policy changes myself. But what upset me the most was how I was spoke to when I told this establishment that I was switching to a new agent. I was even hung up on! These are just my issues

I absolutely love dealing with Wendy at this State Farm office. She's very nice and extremely helpful. She has helped when my Dad had some vehicle issues and looking for the best service in my price range. I have multiple policies with them. She will definitely help you weed out stuff you don't need and keep the important stuff. I can't say anything bad at all. Just pure awesomeness.
