By April Ellis Sheldon, granddaughter of Catherine Ellis 1925-2019 And on the 9th day, God looked down on his planned paradise and said, "That farmer needs help". So God made a farmer's wife. I don't really know how clear my cognition is right now because I have been awestruck for a few hours following a conversation with my "pregnant-and-ready-to-deliver-at-any-time-now, " daughter Grace.

They did an outstanding job for us. My husbands death was sudden and unexpected. With covid we invited only immediate family to come for a last viewing. They had him displayed in a private viewing room. Within an hour of my request Scott found a minister to come bless him and say a prayer for us. It was a very nice gathering.

So far I have only used them to take care of my dogs; they are an amazing group of people! Ted Byus has come to our home on 2 occasions to pick up the bodies of our large dogs. Both times were on a holiday and he more than gracious. When the time comes, (hopefully no time soon) I would be pleased to have them handle myself or a loved one.

I'm sorry, but I just cannot rank this funeral home any higher. Approximately 6 weeks ago I attempted to have Mr. Underwood assist me with making arrangements for my mother who passed away not 3 hours past. I spoke to him directly over the phone and he could not have been more insensitive, arrogant, argumentive, and unprofessional. I was asking simple straight forward questions that he seemed to either not understand or refused to for whatever reason. I finally had enough and made it clear I was not happy with his attitude. I didn't raise my voice or use foul language, I simply told him I didn

I cannot thank Mr. Scott Underwood and his staff enough for their grace and support during my grandmother's showing and funeral. Mr. Underwood had known my grandmother personally as well as my grandfather, whose funeral was also at Underwood Funeral Home. Mr. Underwood worked to make sure my grandmother was buried in the way she would have wanted to be. She looked beautiful at her showing. He and his staff really thought of all the items and traditions that would be needed during this time, and it was such a relief to not have to worry about things during my family's difficult time.
Scott, thank
