Our clinic cannot accommodate walk-ins and we recommend calling the office directly to schedule an appointment. Our office hours are subject to change at any time for a variety of reasons, including doctor availability and weather, but the best times to call to make an appointment are between 9 am and 3:30 pm on weekdays.
If appointments need to be rescheduled for any reason, the clinic will try to contact you as soon as possible. When you make an appointment, please understand that we cannot accommodate a grace period for appointments. Please come to your appointment on time or be prepared to be rescheduled for a later date.

Services
We offer surgical procedures up to 19 weeks and 6 days into pregnancy, the legal limit for abortion in Louisiana. While the name "surgical" can sound invasive and scary, these procedures are actually aspirations and are not like the surgeries we are used to seeing on TV.
In Louisiana, patients interested in the aspiration option are first required to attend state-mandated counseling and wait at least 24 hours prior to the actual abortion procedure. For surgical procedures, patients should expect to be in the clinic several hours on the day of their procedure to allow for time to be appropriately medicated and monitored before and after the procedure, but the actual aspiration only takes a few minutes.

We offer medication abortions with pills, often called the Abortion Pill, up to the 10 weeks of pregnancy. In Louisiana, patients interested in the abortion pill are required to attend state-mandated counseling, which costs $150, and must wait at least 24 hours before their second appointment for the medication abortion with pills.
The state of Louisiana requires each patient to complete counseling performed by their abortion provider at least 24 hours prior to when abortion services can be rendered. We offer state-mandated counseling in the form of an Intake Visit during which we also provide an ultrasound and blood work (we test for blood type and RH factor only).
When utilizing NOAF, leave a message noting: (1) the date of your procedure; (2) the cost of the procedure; (3) the amount you need; and (4) if it is safe for a volunteer to leave a voicemail message on your phone. Volunteers with NOAF usually return calls within 24 hours (in the evening), from a blocked private/non-local phone number.
People are often made to feel bad about their pregnancy experiences and pregnancy decisions. No matter what brings you into our clinic, we want you to know that the decision to continue or end your pregnancy is yours and that you are safe here. Even though abortion is a choice that about 1 in 4 women makes in their lifetime, there are a lot of negative stigmas.
