Counseling - MCA clinicians offer talk therapy with a variety of specialities to help you work on areas of life related to your concerns. Patients work with therapists to understand their thoughts, feelings, emotions, and how they relate to the world around them. Our therapists utilize an array of modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), psychoanalytic, and psychodynamic approaches.
At Mequon Clinical we're proud to say that our commitment to customer service and client care is there from the first phone call to the last appointment. Treatments are self-administered under the supervision of a licensed psychiatrist or nurse practitioner. Prospective patients should expect to come twice weekly for the first four weeks and once weekly for a minimum of an additional four weeks. Each treatment session lasts approximately two hours during which the patient will self-administer the medication and be monitored for potential side effects.
If you are experiencing four or more of these and feeling a depressed mood for more than a 2-week period, you may want to seek medical help. Significant weight loss (when not dieting) or weight gain (a change of more than five percent of body weight in a month).

Major depressive disorder is a condition which lasts two or more weeks and interferes with a person's ability to carry out daily tasks and enjoyed activities that previously brought pleasure. The exact cause of depression is not known, but leading research in Neuroscience points to an imbalance in the brain's neurotransmitters as the manifestation of depression.

I travel 45 minutes to bring my youngest daughter to see Dr. Kravit. She is a very thorough and insightful doctor and has been more productive towards helping us find care for our daughter’s needs than any other psychologist! I am going to be bringing my oldest daughter to see her as well! She takes her time to dig through the assessments to come to a professional diagnosis so that we can further understand the needs of our daughter! I look forward to every visit as I know she is the best fit for my 7 year old! She is down to Earth and amazing-especially for kiddos! I think having my children

Absolutely horrific and stressful experience! When walking into Dr. Kravit's office we looked past first impressions of a very unprofessional environment. It looks like a hoarders room with old bottles and food wrappers everywhere. This doesn't even begin to describe how someone with anxiety feels when walking into this room. We felt like we needed to take a shower after leaving! Holes on furniture and stains everywhere made me not want to even set foot in her office. After talking with another person who has also been to see her, I have come to find out that she is being sued and likely will lose

Unresponsive. Apparently they have all the patients they need and don't need you or me. Twice I tried working with them. The first time I got a call back 6 weeks later! I tried again and told them it was urgent, going on 3 weeks now...

Nonresponsive providers and staff. I spoke to the receptionist and indicated that I wanted to confirm that Dr. Alison Kravit, would be the right fit for my child. The reception invited me to leave a voicemail message with Dr. Kravit. I expressed concern about whether that was the best way to go about this, but she said that was what I needed to do. I left a short vm and Dr. Kravit never responded. I called again and spoke to a staff member and left a message asking that someone call me back. I received no response. I left two other messages on its new patient line. No response.

My partner came to Dr. Alison Kravit looking for a general diagnosis. Her response was to put him, his parents, and myself through an extensive testing and paperwork process. When we asked the office how much this was going to cost, they told us "insurance will cover it." This proved to be COMPLETELY UNTRUE. Several weeks after the testing was complete, we received a bill for $800. This is completely out of our price range and had we known it would be so expensive, we would not have gone through with the testing. My partner has always been hesitant to be proactive with his mental health and this

Dr. Kravit may be late at times or forget to send you things, but she is a great therapist and has helped me a lot over the past year.

I have received a referral to Mequon Clinical Associates from a councilor, unfortunately she had a old address on, which I drove by, didn't find them so googled and arrived to a current address. I asked the receptionist if they were the same place, received "absolutely not, who sent you here?" and drove to old address where someone in unrelated office told me that MCA have moved to address I was just at (!) over 3 years ago. This time I called and the same lady picked up and now accepted that it was them indeed.
I set up an appointment, provided insurance info, clarified they will check if they
