Dr. Faiz performed a root canal treatment on my molar tooth that has 3 nerves. He found 2 nerves but put a crown on that tooth anyway instead of referring me to an endodontist. I lost that tooth a year later due to infection.
He made a crown for a premolar tooth. The crown did not fit. Food got stuck in the crown. He recommended gum surgery which did not fix the problem. I went to another dentist to replace the crown and fix the problem.

This guy is horrible and rude. Our son is autistic and it's a struggle to find providers who accept Medicaid. Faiz is close so we gave him a try. Our son is very sensitive to touch and, like many special needs people, was very hesitant about receiving dental treatment. Instead of trying to understand my son's disability and trying to console him, Faiz screamed at my son and then screamed at my wife. They were both very scared when they left his office. Needless to say, we never went back.
I would stay as far away as possible from this place.

Please, read and don't get scammed like me!! If I could give this place a half a star I would!! First, does anyone realize how old the facility, and equipment looks so old and outdated. It screams makeover! Second, the forms you fill out are not typical forms for a dentist. They are all worded to protect himself from a lawsuit, if he messes up anything. It's very disturbing. Third, please don't buy in his sweet talk, and confusing way to manipulate for his recommended treatment. He is all about the money, and not the satisfaction of the procedures performed. Wonderful staff, they work with you when it comes to payment and make you feel like family and really calm your nerves. The dentist Is wonderful and knows what he’s doing, he’s pretty fast too. He also makes you feel very comfortable. I had a root canal done and can finally eat comfortably again.

I am, actually I was someone that was petrified of dentists. Until I met Dr Allen Faiz. I had a history of poor dentistry years ago, and this year I had to see a dentist (I had not been for about 8 years). I was so nervous I couldn't sleep for days before going to the dentist, I was so worried. Until I met Dr Faiz. He explains everything, he then makes sure you are comfortable. His main priorities are your comfort. Slight bit of pain, he stops, numbs and then waits for it to work and verifies no feeling and then continues. I used to go to dentists that would inject and start drilling straight away

The best dental experience that I've ever had my entire life . The staff were really friendly and nice and professional. Dr Faiz was really really professional and nice and was explaining all the X-rays and the entire process step by step. He made sure I was totally comfortable during the entire time . I went to Dr. Faiz about 3 years ago when I got a new dental insurance. From the second I sat down in the chair they had a laundry list of things they said I needed done. I thought I was just going in for a routine check up and cleaning and I walked out with $1,200 worth of dental work done. Absolutely the WORST dentist I've visited. Stay away unless you like long wait times and quotes for hundreds of dollars or more of work other dentists have NEVER said that you needed.

My primary care physician recommended Dr. Faiz as my other dentist had moved some time ago and I had unfortunately neglected my teeth - for way too long.
I had many issues and I was very nervous about what it might cost and the PAIN.
Well, I was pleasantly surprised! The staff is very friendly and he is very knowledgeable, thorough and his chair side manner is great. He is very gentle ( actually makes sure you have NO discomfort) and explains everything in detail.
I have been going to Dr. Faiz for over a year now and have had extensive work completed - effectively and with reasonable pricing

Dr Faiz is the best dentist I've had since moving to Texas. He not only takes care of your teeth he treats you like family. He has been awarded some top honors for his dentistry work and is always learning the new techniques to help his patients better. His staff is very professional and very knowledgeable. Valita and Becky are the office front and the first people you see when you walk in. They are always there with a smile and treat you very nice. I recommend Dr Faiz to all my friends.

I went to Dr. Faiz when my dentist retired. I had never had a cavity and still to this day, do not. BUT him and his staff tried to tell me I had "some of the worst teeth" they have ever seen. They recommended thousands of dollars worth of procedures of caps, fillings and who knows what else. I got up and left because I knew it was all nonsense but I'm sure this works on people all of the time which makes me so angry. STAY AWAY FROM THIS FRAUD.

His story was that he went here and had his teeth cleaned, and then the dentist started poking around his gums and saying that he had numerous issues that needed to be treated. He went to a second dentist, who said that his teeth were totally healthy and didn't need any treatment!

Without bias Pavillion Dental Center is a place i look forward to going again. Having undergone intensive deep cleaning. The Staff are friendly professional, and enthusiastic.I had the opportunity to meet Dr Faiz and a female resident Dr. from Baylor. The dental assistant Violet was very meticulous and polite through the entire procedure.
They have flexible pay plans whenever you need it. Indeed i would recommend the center to anyone.

So I was in search for a new dentist and stumbled upon this place because it was right across the street from my school. So I scheduled a cleaning which is always free with my insurance. After my cleaning I scheduled an appointment to have my cavities filled. At this time the lady at the front told me I would need another cleaning, which I've never even heard of before, I usually just get two a year. 1. The temporary dentures he cast for us were horribly made; after the tooth removal, we went back over several weeks to try and get them to fit properly. They fit wrong, pinched, would not adhere, and caused my partner to gag. After giving up and going to a different dentist not covered by our insurance out of sheer desperation, we were told that they were badly made. While he was able to get them to fit somewhat better, it was more or less hopeless. We were out of pocket $1600 for these pieces of crap. My mother went through the same process
