I began my photography business 6 years ago. My husband purchased a Canon DSLR to use at his summer camp. Having taken photography in high school, I offered to take some photos of the kids going down the waterslide and playing water games. It is my biggest joy to capture genuine smiles and the happiness and love that connect a family.
I use all natural light and love to shoot a few hours before sunset when the light is golden and beautiful. My style has been described as warm, engaging, natural and vibrant. I specialize in family, children, seniors and engagement photos.

Fine Art School Portraits provide a fresh and classic update to school portraits with a boutique ordering experience. I use a simple black background, natural light, portrait lens and fun interaction with the students.
I am located in Los Altos, California. I serve many surrounding areas such as Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Atherton, Cupertino, Redwood City, and more! I try to create a relaxed environment during our session in order to capture true emotion, genuine smiles and authentic images! I love shooting about an hour or two before sunset as the light is so warm and beautiful.

I booked a mini-session recently for a family photo and we had the best experience. My girls were super comfortable with Sarah and got some wonderful photos of my kids and for once a entire family photo with natural smiles because we were having a good time.
