Dr. Slavik earned her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from the University Of Wisconsin-Madison while competing on the university's volleyball team. She went on to receive her DDS from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. Dr. Slavik is dedicated to attending continuing education courses to stay current on the latest techniques.
We use digital x-rays which, instead of film, enhances the image taken of the tooth. Digital x-rays are vastly improved over traditional film for a variety of reasons, but primarily they require far less radiation to capture the image providing a safer experience for the patient. Digital X-rays can also be computer enhanced and modified allowing for a more accurate diagnosis.
