I look at taxes as just one part of a much bigger picture. My clients want expert advice on how to plan for and navigate changes that affect their businesses and their personal finances. I return phone calls and emails quickly. My clients know that I welcome questions at any time - and that I don't keep a meter running on my phone.

I'm plain-spoken and patient when it comes to explaining financial situations and strategies. My clients want to understand their options so they can make the correct decisions for their business, their families, and their future.

Figuring out how to keep more of what you earn - from a business, a salary, and other investments - isn't easy when the rules keep changing. Knowing how to manage your resources and plan for life's responsibilities and opportunities is even more challenging. Numbers aren't everything. But they do matter.
Cash flow and capital are the life blood of your small business. These vital signs tell the story of where your business is headed - whether you'll grow and thrive, or struggle to survive. That's why my small business clients get regular check-ups. At least once a year, we'll assess the overall health of your business.
Finding the time to deal with major challenges and opportunities isn't easy when you're busy with day-to-day operations, serving customers, and managing employees. You've been approached about buying a competitor's business, but don't know if the valuation justifies the cost. That's where I can help.
It's one thing if your idea of "doing your taxes" is a necessary evil that should be dispatched as quickly as possible. But when your tax preparer is focused on speed over quality, you are paying twice - first for your tax return, and second for the missed savings and strategies that can cost you much more than the preparation fees over the years.

Alan has been incredibly helpful for my husband and I when we financially had some changes in company stock, 401K and the birth of our son. He took the time to answer all of our questions over the phone and at our initial in person consultation. He was able to show us items that were negatively impacting our tax returns which HR block was unable to do when we asked. I'm very pleased with his work and feel like he took the time to explain everything to us to make knowledgeable decisions moving forward. We will be back with our financial questions moving forward.

I'm not even sure where to start with this. We showed up to his office expecting to go through our tax return in person. The office was disgusting; piles upon piles of paper everywhere, and literally filthy. We quickly realized he was expecting us to drop off the paperwork and he would get back to us when the return was complete. As we walked out, we were a bit nervous to be leaving important financial documents in his hands but figured we'd give him a chance. Once the return was done, he emailed us with the amount of the return and a form to sign. The amount was a lot less than what
