My name is Claudia Ocampo, MS, LPC, NCC, RPT. Since 1999, I have worked with children and families through the obstacles that seem to be holding them back in life. I have an educational background as a paraprofessional, teacher, crisis manager and school counselor in all educational levels (elementary - high school).
The counselor provides a safe and protected space where the child is able to communicate through actions and play the brain's unconscious material. Play is their main form of communication. My specialization in processing trauma using EMDR will help guide you through emotionally charged experiences of past traumatic events so your brain can reprocess the information.
