Services
Concrete makes the most durable pavement system available. Concrete Roads, Highways, Bridges, and Industrial Site pavements can last more than 50 years. Concrete is produced locally, with local labor, supporting local communities, which is great for the economy. Because concrete pavements are stronger, and recover faster from disasters, these roads help deliver critical supplies to those in need without needing to wait for repairs.
Resiliency is not about how fast you can repair something once a disaster hits, instead it's about thoughtful planning and designing pavement systems to withstand whatever Man or Mother Nature throws at us, especially in critical places like flood plains and evacuation routes.
Designing pavements with materials that will not melt under intense heat, such as from a forest fire, or weaken when submerged in flood waters, help expedite recovery efforts. In order to better protect existing pavements, when doing a post disaster repair, use stiffer or stiffen the existing pavement, to assist in the future protection of the pavement.

Concrete uses locally sourced raw materials. Concrete pavement is not dependent on foreign petroleum-based products such as oil derivatives. Concrete production supports the local economy. With durable concrete roads, there are fewer repair cycles which means road workers aren't put at as much risk doing repairs while traffic races by.
Road Network Health utilizes Life Cycle Cost Analysis, Remaining Service Life, and a Mix of Fixes Approach, to ensure that pavement projects and the related budgets are optimized. The ACPA supports DOT's and municipalities through our development of Road Network Health Programs. Through this effort our goal is ensure that communities are able to leverage their investment in road programs maximizing the use of their tax dollars.
Inter-Industry Competition is an important tool to assist DOTs and municipalities with maximizing their budgets. In today's environment, every agency, municipality, city and town face budget constraints. Fair competition, including dual pavement system bidding enables all clients to get the most lane miles or road for their budget.
