Dr. Wilson is originally from Bogota Colombia attended her dental school in Bogota Colombia in 1993 and the International Dental program to get DDS to practice in the United States at De La Salle University in Leon Guanajuato Mexico in 2010. Dr. Wilson loves redding, practicing yoga, and enjoyed playing tennis during the years and spending time boating and swimming during the summer with her family.

Looking for safe and effective dental services for your child? Bring them to Lila Wilson, DDS. We invite you to stay with your child with the initial examination. For future visits, you will have the option to stay with your child or wait in the waiting room. Some children can listen and pay attention better if their parents are not present in the room, and the dentist can pay better attention to your child.
Yes, it is important to floss daily, because flossing removes plaque between teeth where it is hard for a toothbrush to reach. A major contributing factor to gum disease is caused by not flossing. For optimal oral health, we recommend that you find a dentist get a dental cleaning and exam every six months.
Lila Wilson is amazing with kids. I've attempted a couple of times with my 3 and 1/2-year-old daughter to go for her first cleaning and exam without success. She wouldn't even open her mouth for the dentist. Lila Wilson took her in and got everything done without a problem. We had to come back because it turned out that my daughter had three little cavities and Lila Wilson got them all done in one visit.

Dr Wilson is AMAZING! She talks to your children confidently but sweetly. She's caring, informative and has no problems answering any questions you may have. My boys have been seeing her for over 2 years and they're actually excited when they have a dental appointment! Her staff is amazing as well! I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking for a new dentist for their children. Im so thankful I found her because before her, my boys were not a fan of going to the dentist. You will not be disappointed if you take your children here!

Absolutely love taking my son here. Dr Wilson is amazing with children. Her assistants are very helpful in keeping the kids calm. Myson has been going here almost 8 years. Sarah in her front office is so kind and always returns messages very quick. So thankful for the amazing care I know they give to all of their patients. KEEP DOING WHAT YOU'RE DOING.

They are not good with kids!!! They over book themselves and then cxl last minute
They cxl with the excuse that the appointment was not confirmed but they confirm it the day before and call when you are at work. They don't pick up the phone when you try to call back, or just send a message saying they need to reschedule, I have to take the day off work to take my kid there and on top of that if he tells them something hurts they ignore him. Last time I went to the office they made me wait in the waiting room and took my 8 year old alone in. Saying it's safety measures due to covid. This office

Normally a great dentist office to work with. Haven't had a problem before besides being scheduled on a date that they're not open and wasting a trip to come down here an hour away from where we live. Their office needs to be a little more proactive on their scheduling so they don't waste people's time or money. Hopeful for a sooner appointment than later so my daughter is no longer in pain.

Having been to multiple dentists over the last three years in an attempt to get my son willingly sitting in the chair, let alone having a Dr. poking around in his mouth... was, well, challenging. This office has a terrible policy of not helping new patients with emergencies. My daughter was injured and had a loose tooth, I tried to schedule and appointment, but was told that my daughter needed to have x-rays and cleaning before she could be seen about the loose tooth. Does this make sense? Not sure if the dentist is any good - but she should rethink her policies as this makes it seem like she only wants money! They asked me what my insurance was several times - yes, I have insurance. zero stars

The clinic and Dr. Is by far the best in Shasta County. I will strongly recomend her. My daughter is her patient and truly loved her experience.She had her tooth extracted and didn't fuss or cried and she said. The dentist is so gentle. If you have litle ones don't go anywhere else. She is amazing loving and professional. Her staff are also so nice.

Dr Lila Wilson and staff are amazing with the kids. Always professional and respectful, they set a welcoming, comforting tone for the kids. All 3 of my kids love going there. My 3 year old threw a full blown tantrum the morning after his appointment because he didn't want to go to daycare, he wanted to go to the dentist. That speaks to her demeanor and environment in itself.

To start, I don't appreciate being told that I'm not allowed to be with my children for their dental visit! There is absolutely NO REASON for that. We took our 13 year old daughter in to Lila Wilson for a checkup, and found out she needed a filling. Lila filled it same day, and then came out to consult with us IN THE WAITING ROOM, where there was no privacy!! After more than a week, the filled tooth was still painful, and we scheduled a follow up appointment. This dental office is simply fantastic! Each and every person working there is both professional and kid-friendly! Their reminders are on point and crucial for someone like me who is uber busy and on the go constantly. They are always happy to make appointments around my schedule which is so convenient.

Disappointed by this office to say the least. My kids had a back to back appointment starting at 11am. After waiting 30 minutes, I inquired why it was was taking so long. The girl at the counter went to check and said they were prepping the room and my kids would be next. Another 15 mins went by, I inquired again and she couldn't give me an answer. Said she normally doesn't work the front desk, but in billing. What is the point of a scheduled appointment if it still takes over 45 mins or more to get seen? To top it off, their office closes for lunch at 12:30pm each day. Don't waste

I have 2 girls ages 5 and 8. My kids have never been scared at the dentist, and if they were they would still go in and let the dentist do what was needed. My oldest had a couple of fillings done there, the first was fine, the next time we thought it had gone fine at the time. Well the next time she had gone in, we were told that the last filling needed to get re-done and that I wouldn't be charged because it was their fault, so ok fine. We go in, and they don't ever let the parents go back with their children, so I am waiting in the waiting room, oh and by the way her appt was @ 4 and

All I can say is amazing service. I felt part of the family there. I was in and out and felt little pain at all. I showed up 15 minutes early and checked in with the very nice recepionist. The waiting area is very spacious and they were more concerned about getting me treated and creating a report with me rather than getting me in and out of the chair as fast as possible. All I can say is that this is going to be my lifelong dentist.

Don't bother wasting your time. I had an appointment set up for 2 months, go in 20 minutes early and they don't have me on the schedule. Funny thing is I showed them the e-mail they sent me confirming my appointment, but it didn't matter, I got a babysitter for nothing. Big waste of my time, which is pretty rare since I have 4 kids.
