Dennis D. Camp is a life-long resident of Ocala/Marion County Florida. He holds a bachelor's degree from Florida State University and received his law degree from The University of Florida College of Law in 1990. He has practiced law in Ocala and the surrounding central Florida area since 1991, concentrating his practice primarily in the areas of probate, wills, trusts, estate planning, and real estate.
We assist family members each step of the way through probate, which is the court-managed process of distributing the decedent's assets and property to the decedent's beneficiaries (or heirs, when there is no will). Mr. Camp represents personal representatives (executors) who were appointed in the decedent's will, as well as those who, because the decedent had no will, must be approved and appointed by the Court.

My role as an attorney when it comes to real estate depends on the circumstances. For example, in a non-probate context, someone may see my firm online and contact us to prepare a deed to transfer their property to a family member or add them as an owner. Another example is my helping someone who has moved from another state to update their trust and prepare a Florida approved deed to properly transfer their Florida property into the trust.
Dennis and his staff were an enormous help to myself and my father settling my Aunt's estate. The fact the I am in Canada helped to add complications that are not normally encountered. Dennis solved all the problems and guided me to a successful conclusion. Camp is a professional of rare quality. He has been my family's attorney since 1999 and has consistently been there for us.

Attorney Camp handled my mom’s estate this year. He and his assistant, Ivette, were professional, courteous, and very empathetic through the entire process. They made an emotional time of my life a lot less stressful and we were able to close probate in less than a year. My biggest piece of advice is trust the process and ask questions if you do not understand something. They are very honest, will walk you through the process, and explain everything. I am so delighted that I get to post one of the first reviews for Mr. Camp. My aunt and I were in need of a lawyer to help get her will in order and I found Mr. Camp here on Yelp. I made an appointment, drove up to Ocala and we met with Mr. Camp to go over what she was needing to have done.
We both found him to be professional and knowledgeable. His relaxed demeanor and easy going approach made it easy for us to ask the questions we had been pondering.
