Chris has been in the landscape industry since 1986.
He is a Certified Professional Horticulturist and a Landscape Industry Certified Technician (formerly CLT). He is a former Treasurer/Secretary for the Landscape Contractors Association of MD/DC/VA. His jobs have been recognized by LCA and NALP with Grand, Gold and Silver Awards. Bert attended West Virginia University's School of Landscape Architecture and has been in the landscape installation industry for more than 20 years.

What good would a leaf with a whole lot of holes be for a plant? You would think if the sole function of a leaf is to absorb and process as much sunlight as possible in order to make food for the entire plant, the leaf must have to be big, green, and certainly not have giant, gaping holes. Of course, in the natural world, there are always incredible exceptions to our human logic.

Planted Earth does ok work but not great. There is also a very serious problem with communication at the company. What I told the Planted Earth lead was not what his crew did in my yard. Another lead came by on the second day to see how things were going and they weren't working on the correct area. However, the lead didn't redirect them. Why didn't he know they were working in the wrong area? I was busy and was not able to go outside to redirect them. The original lead only came by to see the completed work after I complained.I feel I was extremely overcharged for the work they did.

Our lawn looks amazing!! Thank you so much to Chris, Justin and the entire team from Planted Earth who did an incredible job on our front yard. The team leveled the soil irregularities, treated the soil and replaced the sod. No more weed and dirt patches! No more lumpy lawn! They were professional, efficient, hard working and very organized with the entire project. Thank you to everyone at Planted Earth for making our yard so beautiful!
