Coleman-Adams Construction, Inc., established in 1971 by A.C. "Buzzy" Coleman, Jr. and Vincen L. Adams, had its origin in Coleman Construction Company, one of Virginia's oldest and most respected construction firms. Coleman-Adams has been firmly rooted in Central Virginia for five generations. For our clients, that means there's a pride in accomplishment that carries over into everything we do - and is reflected in every single project we build.
Having our origin from a fourth generation commercial and industrial construction family, we continue to bring the fine service brought forth in previous years by the original Coleman Construction Company. In 1974, the Butler building franchise was obtained from Butler Manufacturing Company, adding a complete, quality line of pre-engineered buildings.

Services
We build safety into all of our projects by providing proper equipment and training for each task. A safe work environment is our top priority, to ensure that our employees, our subcontractors, and our customer's on-site representatives return home safely to their families every day. We're part of the expert network of Butler Builder design-build contractors throughout North America.
Coleman-Adams renovated this existing 70,000 SF retail facility in 2013, which is now serving as the College of Nursing and Lab Simulation for Centra Health. Centra uses this facility in training students to meet the challenging needs of the medical industry. This Centra project is a medical facility that was completed in 2017.
Completed in 2011, this new bank boasts of a unique, modern design, giving their customers the look and feel of the next generation. The new 2-story branch facility for Community First Bank was built in 1999. The wood framed structure, with brick faade and architectural shingle roof displays a warm, inviting atmosphere.
