Tops Roofing and remodeling has been our "go to" company for roof and siding work since around 2005. The original job was the replacement of both the roof and siding replacement on our home. They also did extensive work on my parent's home and some work at my wife's parent's home since then. We originally selected Tops out of roughly 6 proposals because Tom was the only person who actually went onto the roof to do a thorough evaluation of what was needed (As well as you can without removing materials) and also was quick to explain why some things I was requesting should not be done. Ended up having the roof installed to late in the season. Workmanship was shoddy, needed three call backs to fix leaks. Flashing around chimney was reused, until the third time then was replaced like it should have been at start. Old vent holes weren't covered just shingled over. Snow covered after second call back then a ton of salt sprayed on roof. Soffits and facia also poor job, sagging, gaps, etc, called back. Roof seems to be ok now, still dealing with soffits, repairing myself. This was a major expense to not have it done right its inexcusable, definitely shop around

I called TOPS and was able to get a quote done the same day. Tom was extremely nice and professional. We hired TOPS Roofing & Remodeling in June 2016. Our roof was scheduled for mid-July, but completed a week or two earlier. The crew was excellent, hard working and extremely nice. They came in at 7AM and finished the entire roof by 7PM. The roof color and quality is great. We are very pleased with this company. The quote was affordable and highly reasonable considering the size of the job.
