I highly recommend Brandes Printing. I was happy to work with Homer to print a personal project, and I greatly appreciated his patience and professionalism as I worked to get the formatting correct. Brandes prints with flawless quality for excellent value. Homer and Micki are a pleasure to work with, and I wouldn't hesitate to go back for other personal printing jobs like invitations or holiday cards!

Seriously, we all know you can get your business cards online, but if you want any guidance or customer service those places online are very limited, if they're available at all.
I love my new cards and am super happy supporting a local company that takes pride in their work.

Homer and his team are the best! They always take the time to talk about your project, whether big or small. Brandes is a family-run small business that can also crank up big jobs in a short turnaround. They are extremely professional, friendly and their printers and print jobs are of super high quality.

I cannot rave enough about Brandes Printing Co! After an issue with my regular printer, I needed some collateral digitally printed asap - Brandes Printing responded to my email bright and early and were able to make me hard copy proofs to match the proofs from the other printing company that had already been approved by the clients. Everything was ready by 2pm and the print quality was beautiful. Beyond that, Homer was friendly and helpful....an overall pleasure to work with! I cannot imagine going anywhere else from here on out!

Brandes is fabulous! Their staff is so friendly and Homer is so patient and willing to help us with our rush jobs or providing us proofs for our many prints. They have a variety of machines so no matter what you need, they have you covered. They are also so knowledgeable about printers, cutting, and paper types, with recommendations and help a plenty! They have a fast turn around time and are very professional. I don't know what we would do without them!

I've worked with Brandes on many projects over 1 and a half years and they are the most reliable, consistent and friendly printer I've worked with.

Whoa. I can't speak to their quality, but writing this only in response to those who say they have good prices- they have a minimum of $65 for 100 business cards!
What?!
I must be missing something here. Maybe these are very specialized? If so, feel free to contact me and I'll change my review. But I thought others looking for a good price on business cards should know that this is probably not the place to go.

I got a call 2 days ago asking if I could substitute for a speaker at the 2013 Digital Web & Design Innovation Summit in San Francisco.
Sounds great! But damn -- I'm all out of business cards!
So I called the top 10 Berkeley printing services on Yelp. I said I needed same day turnaround, and asked how much 250 two-sided business cards would be.
After talking to 10 places, I can tell you that Brandes had the best price, the fastest turnaround and the friendliest service!

Really grateful for the service here at Brandes. I've sent many print jobs here, often requiring a quick turnaround time, and they've always responded to my requests with a lot of grace and helpfulness. Not only that, but in one of my recent orders I requested scoring done, but no fold - but they just ended up folding my print job for me at no extra charge!
Print jobs are amazing, and if they note something wrong or off in my designs, they are willing to fix it and make the adjustments as necessary. Why go to anywhere else to get high-quality prints made, when I can get great customer

Unbelievable customer service. I was desperately searching for a printer in the East Bay to do digital printing of my graphic design portfolio book. It was a challenge because most printers don't want to do such short-runs.
I can't begin to convey the absolute pleasure it was to work with Brandes Printing Co. Homer was very responsive to emails and phone calls. I even got a tour of the facilities. This was by far the easiest part of my semester so far!
Very helpful with paper selection and even recommended a place to call to work out some funky digital image problems with my files

It is worth going there just to talk shop with Homer, who has been printing for decades. They do offset and letterpress printing and brochures on their digital and old-school printing presses. It was great to see a true printing craftsman at work.
It was pretty slow when I went there and I got my business cards printed and cut while I waited! Out the door in 30 minutes flat. The service was excellent too. Homer helped me pick out a beautiful linen paper for my cards and printed a couple of proofs for me so that we could tweak the ink level. I will go to Brandes again, definitely.

Something must be wrong with me--why haven't I reviewed Brandes yet? I'm clearly falling down on my Yelp obligations!
I have been working with Homer at Brandes for well over a year now. He is AWESOME. I seriously can't say enough good things about him. He always works with me to get the perfect paper and is patient with me when I send files the wrong size (haha).
The quality is great and Homer does a really good job getting things done quickly. Highly recommended!

The owners (Homer and Mickey) are a sister and brother team. They have the best attitude, service and they genuinely care about their work.
These folks are truly great printers to boot.
I do most all of my printing for the company I work in here. I once got in to a battle with the CFO who suggested we job out our printing to a corporate giant. I REFUSED!!! Why send out work to mega chains who don't care about their craft or the service they provide.
