My 2019 tax year was my husband and I first time filing with this company. They were polite and professional. I told my husband that "this will be our Tax filing service." This year 2021 I dropped my 2020 filing documents off in April.
I called in May and at least twice monthly since then. I was told that they are working on it. The next times; no one would answer the phone. I left several messages.
When someone finally answered the phone; I expressed to them that I did not want to be penalized by the IRS for late filing. The young lady on the phone said you are fine. Sometimes

It's been 3 month's since speaking to peggy. plenty of excuses ,but no action. not even a call saying I'm screwed. told to call every week for the past 3 months and I have received nothing but a suggestion to call back , again. one week I was told I'm at the top of the pile. a month later I am at the bottom. a month after that it was another excuse.I'm sticking with H&R block. I usually support local businesses. this is one I will not support!

My husband and I stumbled across Peggy's Tax & Accounting Service last year. We had been with a different accounting firm in Topeka, and were just not happy with our accountants ability to communicate. He was rude and defensive. A couple times we asked him a question and he treated us like we're were idiots.

We met with Peggy in early May 2015. She agreed to settle our deceased mother's estate taxes with a $250 payment up front. She was supposed to have them done in two weeks. It is now December! She refuses to return phone calls. Finally, caught in the office and she made the excuse that she had been gone most of November and that she would look for our paperwork and call right back. NOT HEARD A WORD from her!!! She has our money and our paperwork! I should have known better when I was sitting in her office for our initial appointment and someone came in complaining about her failure to file
