My wife and I visit Palm Springs a couple times a year for a nice getaway. We stay at the tennis club where we came in contact with Mary at body sense.
We love that she is a local family owned business as we own a small business of our own and like supporting locals.
As for the massage, Mary has been doing this for over 30 years!
She has more knowledge of massage than many therapists have years of life!
She has strong hands but can also be very gentle.
She also is a very sweet person who is soft spoken and doesn't talk a lot during your massage, I happen to like a quiet massage.

My boyfriend & I came here to get a couples massage as part of our 5 year anni celebration. It was the BEST experience we were greeted by our therapist who were professional & made us get into a total state of relaxation. I wish we would of remembered the therapists names but after all that relaxation we totally forgot!! We visited on 8/20 in the morning if that helps! Thanks Ladies!

My husband took me here for a couples massage for my birthday and I'm also 7 months pregnant so we needed a nice relaxing massage before the baby comes. I had Mary and she was wonderful! She was able to make me feel super relaxed and knew how to massage me so that the baby wouldn't be harmed in any way. By the time the massage was done I was in a complete state of relaxation! We definitely recommend Body Sense Spa and will be back once the baby is born!

Came down from LA to get away for a night with my cousin. We went to the pool during the day and decided to get massages afterwards. Wow was that the best decision! I'm so appreciative of Mary and her staff for staying a little after their closing time to accommodate me and my cousin. I had the best experience with Mary as my massage therapist. She was so kind and attentive to my needs. I felt like a new woman leaving her studio! My cousin also had a great experience with her masseuse. We both felt like jello when we walked out. I will definitely be back during my next Palm Springs getaway

Read the deals - they're hardly a deal at all! You know it's not a good deal when the first thing out of owners mouth when you tell them you have a deal from Yelp is "Oh, did you read this fine print?" Wouldn't let us use the $115 for $150 worth of services because we got a couples massage. Disappointing and so obvious that she had turned off her customer service for two out of towners she'll never see again. Would not return if I called Palm Springs home year round or seasonally.

My 2nd time here & yet again it exceeded my expectations! My husband & I had a couples massage.
Mary has the most amazing hands!! She worked out all of my tension! The ambience is very comfortable & relaxing! Both Mary & Helen were so sweet & my husband & I both enjoyed our time there! This will definitely be our go to spot when visiting Palm Springs! Thank you Mary!!

When I go to Palm Springs, it's usually so I can relax. Nothing relaxes me more than a great massage. So, I always book some time with Body Sense.
Originally I found Body Sense because they were the on-premises spa at the Palm Springs Tennis Club. Recently they moved, but they are still in the Downtown Palm Springs area. Their new space is small, but quiet and tranquil.
I've used a few of the massage therapists here, and each one has been excellent. The Aqua Caliente Stone Massage is my favorite and always does the trick for pure and total relaxation. Plus it's 70 minutes
