The receptionist will direct you to my office, or you can leave documents at the front desk. I also have a drop box at my home that you can use at anytime day or night. If you need to drop something off and I am not available you can text me and I will tell you where it is. Please put the flag up after you put something in the drop box.
I started my first business when I was 9. A lucrative lawn mowing and yard work service. Making $70 a month at that age was an outstanding accomplishment. The business continued to make money as long as I hustled up new business to replace sporadic clients. After a couple years it slowed down to nothing and I was out of a job for the first time at age 12.

Top notch service, across the board. Richard responded promptly to all my questions and concerns promptly, whether I asked via phone call, text, or email. I had some complex issues, and fully expected to owe the IRS for at least 2 tax years. Richard got me money back for both years, plus the stimulus payments I couldn't pry out of the IRS, to save me. Don't pay the IRS any more than you absolutely have to; use Bowen Tax Services, & save yourself a LOT of money!

I cannot speak for others, but my experience was definitely not the best with this accountant. My previous CPA is no longer available, so I went with this CPA, trusting the very few yelp reviews. However, within just a very few minutes of dropping off my paperwork to him, I get tax return documents from him via email for review. I thought, "Wow, that was quick, but ok, awesome." However, I immediately noticed he overlooked one of my W2s, thereby leaving a huge chunk of my income out of tax return! Good thing I caught it! No wonder he sent my return fast for review! One of the most important things for me when doing business with anyone is RESPONSIVENESS. Richard is consistently available and responsive. Emails are often answered within a couple minutes. When I call, Richard answers as if I were his only client and he was just sitting by the phone waiting in case I should need anything. My husband and I moved to Bakersfield a couple months back and tax season came around we had no idea who we would go to for our taxes and looked online and Richard came out with great reviews and 5 stars and so we gave it go and dropped off our taxes in the morning and by the afternoon we had everything done and every question we had he was sure to answer it and make us feel at ease this was so easy and fast all thanks to Richard and it was all done electronically other than the drop off of the taxes

Went in on Saturday . Had previously contacted him to make an appointment, he was very responsive for any questions we had . You can fill out a form before you arrive which makes it easier for both party's . I tried to send mine but, my email wouldn't send the file . Either way, he didn't seem to mind and got right to work. Richard was fast in filing our tax returns and even gave us some Advice . We just moved to Bakersfield last July and our new tax situations were a little daunting. I paid for Turbo tax premier and attempted to do them myself but I was uneasy and decided to look for a tax person.

I had previously been a TurboTax gal who just handled my own taxes each year and went on my merry way. He helped us navigate the waters of accounting, and get us on the right path in order to survive our first ever BRE audit. We came out unscathed, and all was well. We decided to keep Bowen Accounting on to manage our Trust Account, and keep us reconciled monthly.
