What is Chiropractic? Chiropractic is the science, art and philosophy of locating and correcting interference in the nervous system through specific gentle adjustments thus allowing the body to function at its optimal potential. What is an adjustment? A specific, non-invasive "thrust" delivered by the hand or using a specialized instrument.
Everyone needs a chiropractor and Chiropractic must be seen as required, not an alternative. Chiropractic has had a very positive impact on my life and the life of my family. I am not one to write reviews, but I’ve got to take the time to write this one! First of, words cannot describe my gratitude to Dr. Shaft and his staff at True Health Chiropractic. I walked (almost crawled) into the office last Friday in so much pain. I couldn’t walk, sit, or even lay down without having severe pain in my low back. I called several other chiropractics in the area and they all said I had to wait until Monday to be seen. However, Diana (front desk) tried her best to fit me in the schedule so that I could be helped. Immediately after I was readjusted I felt relief! Right then

I have been in the area for work and found True Health and it was the best choice I made choosing them. Extremely friendly and caring staff. Dr. Lee and Dr. Shaft both have helped me with my back and neck pain to help with the physical work I do. There hasn't been one time where I walked out feeling like a whole new person. Dr. Shaft is an astounding and knowledgeable chiropractor. He treats his patients not only physically, but can offer assistance with diet and over all health issues. Dr. Lee, his associate, is also a very experienced and knowledgeable chiropractor. They have created a very comfortable office. The office staff are friendly and helpful as well. Highly recommended!

I have been going to True Health for about a month now and have been happy with the results so far. I have RA and a lot of injury to my spine from the years of playing hockey and needed some treatment. What I really am grateful for is having more energy because of having less pain and I can actually turn my neck to the side instead of having to turn my whole body. Dr Shaft and the rest of the staff are super nice, I highly recommend them!

I have had most of my care at Dr Shaft's Livonia office, but wherever I am have found his office staff friendly and helpful and my chiropractic care outstanding. The sudden onset of spinal stenosis resulted in severe back and leg pain that led to a " kinked up " back with severe pain from my back down to my toes! Dr. Shaft has gotten me back to about 80% and we aren't done yet. He is terrific!

I have known Dr Travis for a long time as a friend, colleague, and chiropractor. He has adjusted me numerous times and I have never felt better after getting adjusted by him. Not feeling well this morning. Stiff neck and upper back. I called and made an appointment without a problem. I walked in a bit early and was taken back right away to the adjustment table. A quick chat with Dr. Shaft and let him know that I wanted to experience an adjustment by his new Dr. He was happy to hear me say that and commented that he was going to suggest that same thing so I would be confident going in even if he (Dr. Shaft) wasn't there or was busy.
All in all a quick visit with achieved results.
