Born and raised in Castro County in the town of Dimmitt, I returned after obtaining a degree from Texas Tech University.
I am the father of four children, including a set of twins. In my spare time, I love watching local sports, gardening, and enjoying the outdoors. I am a Master Peace Officer and give back to my community as a Reserve Deputy Sheriff, serving Dimmitt, Hart, Nazareth, and the rest of Castro County. I love the opportunity to take care of families.

I filed an insurance claim on a collision that was not my fault and the other driver was uninsured. Russel assisted me in that process every step! What I thought was going to be a long drawn out headache turned out to be three week breeze! He communicated with me the entire time and I never felt in the dark about the status of my claim. Highly recommend!

I recently had an auto collision in which I was not at fault. I was able to make the claim from my phone, upload pictures and complete the claim process while I was traveling all day. Russel's office and the State Farm call center were both very kind and helpful throughout the ordeal. I was able to get the car to an approved body shop, pick up a rental car, have the car repaired, and the body shop paid within about a week! This was a seamless process! I also received text messages throughout the week to make sure that everything was going smoothly. Thanks for much for taking the stress out of this
