We serve in all three of the delivery styles; Design-Build, General Contractor, and Construction Manager by facilitating part or all of the construction process based on your project goals and needs. Our preferred delivery style is Design-Build because its collaborative approach creates ease on the developer and customer. Design-Build is an integrated delivery procurement model for commercial construction projects in which a single entity designs and constructs a project under one contract. Design-Build is also a mindset that affirms the power of communication, accountability, ingenuity, time, and resources of the team.
As a General Contractor, we bid your project once the design plans are complete. Then, if awarded the project, we move forward to manage and build it. This delivery style is called Design-Bid-Build (D-B-B). In this style, there are two contracts you manage: one with the architect & engineering team that you hire to design your project and the other with us.

Just a wonderful experience with Hackel Construction on the complete renovation of our 1927-era house. I believe there are some simple things in life that lead to success, beginning with "do what you say you are going to do." They did that and on time. Straightforward and transparent. With old houses you inevitably find surprises (sometimes expensive ones). And, when that happens, they help you sort through the reasonable options. Cost conscious, hard working, professional, classy. Would recommend them to anyone. Good folks.
