We booked Sylvain's Caribbean Restaurant to cater my sisters Baby Shower. The food was fantastic, everyone wanted to know where the food came from, and took plenty home to enjoy. Sylvain's cooks with passion and you can taste it in every bite! The food they serve is always made with love, and love always makes the food taste better! The flavors and seasoning are always delicious, and really transports you to the Caribbean.

I found a little gem in Sylvain's Caribbean Restaurant. From the menu I had Rice and Beans, Legume with Beef, BBQ Chicken. From my sister's plate I tried the Griot and fried sweet plantain. The Haitian food was authentic and just divine! I wish I took a picture to accompany this post but didn't think about writing a review until after I devoured my meal.

Food is fresh...I am order curry chicken Roti but got beef.. It was good. The beef was tender, the flavors were they. The Griot lunch platter came with very little rice and the Griot was covered with pikliz. Thankfully there pikliz was mild. The side of green plantains also comes covered with pikliz.

Just... Okay. Not something I'd like to say about a Caribbean restaurant, but would work in a clutch. The flavours are there, but some bad choices were made. One recommendation: ASK FOR PIKLIS ON THE SIDE. It was spread all over the food, but luckily it was more pickled than spicy.
The roti was decent, and the Haitian griot was all right. The patties didn't look great, so choose to stay away.

Food was excellent. Had brown stew chicken and Haitian patties, one of each, vegetable, chicken, fish. Light, well seasoned, simply some of the best I have ever eaten. Chicken from stew was super tender, rice and peas was excellent. Had cabbage as a side which is my favorite, very tender but still had texture. Service was friendly and fast. Visit for yourself you will be happy and full.

Carryout tonight from a new spot for me. Friendly counter staff, walked through the menu with me. I brought home the rib dinner with two sides (plantains, mac & cheese). Food is delicious, portions are plentiful. Will be back to try the chicken and goat. Located in a strip center along Palm Coast Parkway. Dine-in, Carryout, Delivery.
