Joseph has spent most of his life involved in funeral service, working for the family business from a young age he has learned to value the funeral service industry and the meaningful work done for every family. Joseph graduated from the Kansas City Kansas Community College mortuary science program in 2015 and began managing the Winfield branch of the Shelley Funeral Homes, formerly the Swisher Taylor and Morris Funeral Home.

The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces. The Funeral Honors rendered to you or your veteran will be determined by the status of the veteran.
